Nebraska Eye Care

Temporarily lost some of the sight in my right eye on a holiday weekend. She came in and looked me over and assured me that it would return (most of it returned before the exam was over) and explained what most likely was going on. Very knowledgeable and explained everything very thoroughly. Even helped me understand chronic issues I have had in the past.

I really like Nebraska Eye Care. They are a very professional, but polite staff and are there to make sure that you have the best experience possible. The staff makes sure that you walk out a pleased and Happy with the service they provided you. I would definitely refer friends, family and others to this establishment.

Doesn't take UHC community plan insurance. Very short on the phone. Told me "no we don't take that ins" then hung up in the middle of me saying thank you. Rude.

Pro: They do have one receptionist that was very warm in friendly! Con: I took my 5 year old here for her first eye appointment and I didn't know an eye doctor appointment could be such an unpleasant experience. The doctor did not have very good bedside manner at all. They also wanted to dilate my child's eyes and she has no eye problems. Then when my child asked if it would hurt she just looked at her and said "Yeah. It's going to sting a bit" before I even said we would to the treatment. Then my child was all worked up and scared and now never wants to go back to the eye doctor. Not ok and I refused. We will be finding a different place to go next time.

Most helpful and friendly staff that goes above and beyond for the customer. And Dr Robin Schutt is the smartest and nicest I have ever been to. Thanks again to the team at Nebraska Eye Care.

My family loves going to get their eyes checked! The staff is super friendly, attentive to detail and makes sure we always have a good experience.

My children and I have been going here for 4 yrs now. They are always so pleasant and helpful.

Great with adults however the doctor has no bedside manner with kids.
