Went in & got some frames picked out on a fri. was waiting for them to run my insurance & let me know what prices were . Never heard back the whole next week called the following monday & lady ran it for me to see while i was on the phone a whole 1 minute process .. said i dont have any coverage for this year.. i said cant be right my eye doc looked it up during my exam & i was good to go with frames & lenses. She said no i need to check with ins company. I must look like a bum to them bc either way i wanted the price, never heard back since.. =done =neg review pretty simple

Wow! I can't tell you what a lifesaver Heartland Optical was today!! We are visiting from out of town. One of our teenagers had an issue with her contact (she's blind as a bat without them). With tons of fun things planned, we needed her to see. On a hope and a prayer we called -recommended by a local - and was invited to come in to see how they could help. They hit it out of the park with their understanding, kindness and HELP! Thank you!

About Heartland Optical
Heartland Optical has a long and rich tradition in Lincoln, Nebraska. It began when Dr. Ron Conrad and several other optometrists purchased a wholesale optical laboratory in the early 1980s. In 1994, current co-owner, Casey Conrad, joined the team with his brother, Tom Conrad, following suit 10 years later. That location now houses a state-of-the-art lens laboratory, advanced equipment to facilitate patient care, and a wide variety of eyeglasses, sunglasses, and safety glasses. In January of 2016, Heartland Optical opened its 2nd location in Grand Island, NE and in 2023, opened their 3rd location in Lincoln, NE.
