Advanced Family Eyecare

It must be nice to be willing to lose TWO patients over a made-up $50 charge for a missed appointment! Ah, to have that luxury... Maybe this will help other to avoid this place. I received a bill for $50, and was verbally warned that it will be sent to collections if not paid, after I stopped by the office to let them know they never sent me text reminder - AS THEY HAD PROMISED - of the appointment well ahead of it. I brought this to their attention, had them fix my phone number in their system, yet they were unwilling to void the $50 fee. I won't be going back and they will also lose my wife as a patient who went there for longer than a decade!!! Avoid this place!

Advanced Family Eyecare is located in Northwest Omaha at 14450 Eagle Run Drive, just West of 144th Street, off of Eagle Run. They have very professional, helpful, and courteous staff They have a huge selection of products and frames from multiple companies to choose from. Eyeglasses from standard to sunglasses , they have the ability to customize lenses and match to frames to best fit your needs. Additionally, they offer a nice selection of contact lenses. Overall, great service and products , I highly recommend that you give them a try for your eyecare needs.

I have recently switched to Advanced Family Eyecare from being a patient at Malbar for approximately 20 years. WOW! I am so glad I did! Dr. Wendi Langel was amazing, extremely knowledgable, patient, kind, and really listened to my issues. They had much more advanced technology to help diagnose my eye care. She put me in a new prescription and got it right the first time. I cannot believe how much better I can see with the new prescription! This was a game changer for me. I had been so frustrated with not being able to see while I drive, for so many years, I honestly thought I needed surgery. Nope! I just needed an experienced Dr. who knows her stuff! I would highly recommend Advanced Family Eyecare and Dr. Langel!

Excellent experience at Advanced Family Eyecare. The staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Toelle was amazing and very detailed with the eye exam. They have a large selection of eyewear to choose from. I would highly recommend Advanced Family Eyecare!

Wonderful eye care clinic. All of the staff are friendly and outgoing. They provide a very thorough eye exam and take the time to talk to you and answer any questions you have. It was interesting to see the inside of my eye and to see that it was healthy. They have a wide variety of frames to choose from. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for friendly staff, knowledgeable doctors, and great service.

I had a very positive vibe today at Advanced Family Eyecare. I have very bad anxiety but they are very nice and swift. I will be back.

Excellent staff, professional and friendly doctor, exam was painless and executed with speed. And, free eyeglass adjustment on the frames purchased here for life! Only thing making it not totally perfect was the price of frames (always expensive) but that's not really the fault of the practice. Seriously good place, will definitely be back!
