I recently had LASIK eye surgery with Dr. Richard Maw, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the very beginning, Dr. Maw was absolutely fantastic--he took the time to thoroughly explain the entire procedure beforehand and made sure I understood each step. What impressed me most was how he continued to explain everything as it was happening, which kept me calm, confident, and reassured throughout the process. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for his patients truly stand out. The surgery itself was quick and smooth, and I felt completely comfortable in his hands. My results have been amazing, and I'm so grateful to Dr. Maw and his team for giving me such a positive experience. I highly recommend Dr. Maw to anyone considering LASIK--you will be in excellent hands!

Getting LASIK was one of the best decisions I've made. The procedure was super quick and easy!! My vision was noticeably better the same day, and recovery was a breeze. The staff was great and made the whole thing feel really smooth. Highly recommend if you're thinking about it!

Dr. Maw was very patient with me throughout the lasik process as I was nervous during the procedure. Dr. Maw personally followed up with me after the surgery to ensure that everything was still going good. Dr. Maw was professional, had good communication and was thorough during the procedure making me feel safe and confident in his abilities.

The whole staff here was amazing and did a great job explaining everything. Communication was awesome with the office and they would get back to you within minutes. The surgery was super quick and Dr. Maw was amazing. I can now see perfectly and am so happy with it. Would highly recommend Maw and this office.

I had lasik surgery in both my eyes yesterday 5/22/25. I got very panicked. Especially afterwards. Bc the 3 to 4 hours afterwards is very crucial. I went in for a follow up this morning they say I have perfect vision 20/20 -20/15 which is awesome. And I can see so much more clearly! From wearing glasses sense elementary school and contacts since highschool to not having to wear anything is totally awesome! Dr. Maw is a great surgeon, very gentle, compassionate and skilled. All the Drs and staff seem very caring and compassionate as well as considerate and informative. So far I am very happy and pleased with everything. ;) thanks Dr. Maw, Team and staff!

Assisting doctors at a medical office myself, I understand the importance of working with doctors who make their patients feel safe, secure and comfortable in their practice. When considering Dr Maw for my LASIK eye surgery, I knew he fit the bill. It was reassuring knowing he's performed countless LASIK eye surgeries, and his hefty credentials made me feel like I couldn't have picked a better doctor in the Omaha area to handle my eyes. Not everyone is lucky enough to come across surgeons that truly know the ins and outs of their field, and have the expertise to back up the important care they provide- but I was. I'm very happy with my LASIK eye surgery and it truly is all thanks to Dr Maw who gave me my now perfect vision!

Had lasik done at LasikPlus in Omaha at the Maple location on July 25, 2025 with Dr. Maw. The staff and Dr. Maw were excellent. I was extremely nervous and they made me feel comfortable. A week later I don't need glasses after 18 years and I am seeing 20/15 now. Best decision I made. Thank you Dr. Maw and the staff!!

Dr. Maw is a great surgeon. He made sure I understood the procedure and answered my questions. He did a fantastic job and checked in with me after my post op appointment.
