Eye Care West

Our family is self-pay for vision care and does not carry vision insurance. About six months ago, we decided to switch from another eye care provider to EyeCare West, and we have been nothing but satisfied with that decision. After my son received a new prescription and glasses, I noticed he was frequently looking over the top of his frames and complaining of headaches. EyeCare West promptly brought us back in for a second exam. His prescription remained the same, and the staff took the time to thoroughly evaluate the situation and determined the issue was mechanical rather than medical. Because my son has a smaller nose bridge, they recommended frames with adjustable nose pads. We worked with Crystal, who patiently helped us try on several different frames until we found the perfect fit. When the glasses arrived, Crystal felt the original nose pieces were not ideal for an active 12-year-old, so she immediately replaced them in-office and properly refit the glasses--at no additional cost--since the issue was identified within a few months of the initial exam. Crystal was consistently welcoming, professional, and kind, always greeting us with a smile and making the experience comfortable and positive for my son. I would also like to acknowledge Dr. G, who conducted the follow-up exam and ensured everything was thoroughly addressed. EyeCare West truly went above and beyond to make things right, and their level of care, integrity, and customer service is exceptional. I highly recommend them to anyone--insured or self-pay--looking for a trustworthy and compassionate eye care provider.

We have been going to Dr Richert at Eye Care West for many years. We love this place, we love Dr Richert and every staff member is friendly and professional. They all make you feel very comfortable. They take the time to listen and you can tell that they truly care about their patients. Highly recommend.

Excellent staff! I have been a patient for many years. Always the best care and attention given to me and my family. I don't trust anyone else in the city. Location is easy to get to, with lots of parking. I love that there is never a long wait to see the doctor. Usually in an out in 40-45 minutes max. Dr Gradowski is always generous with his time and makes sure to review items with me on each visit.
