I had a great experience at this office! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. Scheduling an appointment was also very easy and convenient. The team was efficient, helpful, and made the entire process smooth. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for great eye care and excellent customer service.

Dr Fielmeir is beyond fantastic. I don't take my vision for granted, and after three transplants, I now have complete confidence I have the most amazing, skilled and a doctor who makes sure the treatment plan incorporates my life and needs into the plan. Awesome surgeon, and he is the only person I will ever allow to stick his fingers into my eye.

I've been seeing Dr. Feilmeier for the past 13 years, and I can't imagine trusting my eyes to anyone else. He quite literally saved my vision when I was facing a corneal transplant and is genuinely one of the kindest, most caring doctors I've ever met. From the moment he walks into the room, he treats you like a real person, not a chart or a number. His bedside manner is incredibly compassionate. He listens closely, explains everything in a way that's easy to understand, and never makes you feel rushed. You can tell he truly cares about your well-being and is fully present during every appointment. His depth of knowledge is matched only by his sincerity and he always takes the time to make sure you feel comfortable, informed, and confident in your care. After all these years, it's clear that he is deeply committed to achieving the best possible outcome for every patient. I'm very grateful to have such a dedicated and caring doctor, and have recommended him to many family and friends. Occasionally there can be a little bit of a wait after checking in, but it is absolutely worth it, as you know he's giving every patient the same depth of care. That far outweighs a few extra minutes of waiting.

Blepharoplasty -I waited 8 months for my initial appointment and it was totally worth the wait. I had absolutely no pain during or after the surgery. I'm only 2 1/2 weeks out but it is healing nicely. I'm delighted with the results and excited that i can see what I've been missing for several years. If you need this procedure I highly recommend Dr. Mercer.

Blown away by the entire team. I left feeling like I made new friends. Process was very thorough, and they communicated the steps clear and concise. A lot of important information. Very professional, and yet still personable. Due to the surgery that was being done, this was so much appreciated. Any time that I displayed signs of being uncomfortable someone would address it. Dr. O'Bryhim is a breath of fresh air. Again, so much good information. Professional and personable at the same time. She obviously leads from the front because this is what a "well oiled machine" should look like.

Dr. Mizener and everyone I came in contact with were all professional, knowledgeable, pleasant, friendly, and eager to please. Midwest Eye Care is very well-run and the entire staff seems to have my best interest at heart.

Dr Feilmeier is a really good eye surgeon and a very nice doctor. I had both my cataracts removed a month apart and both are fabulous. Lots of very great nurses as well. I got the best care, I could have ever hoped for.

This is a large, busy, well-established and well-run ophthamology practice. You'll check-in easily with one of the friendly staff. Your current eyeglasses are evaluated at the nearby Spectacles optical desk a few steps away. Plenty of seating while you wait. If you're in for a routine exam, you'll likely encounter several people - who will explain every step. Updating your prescription, and a check of eye pressure and the internal health of your eyes is very thorough, in my experience. You can choose new glasses at Spectacles, or carry your new/updated prescription to whatever provider you wish.
