This is the third annual visit to see Dr. Himebaugh. He is very pleasantly communicative and explains complicated medical terms and subjects in easy to understand. I had previously visited a different ophthalmologist for many years. I was so pleased to see Dr. Himebaugh for the first time as he totally put me at ease, being it was a new doctor for me. I highly recommend Dr. Himebaugh to anyone needing such care. He never seems rushed and answers all questions. His staff are very kind and professional. They are a great team!

Dr Jackson is always amazing and I looked forward to seeing her every time! She makes it fun and answers all my questions. It was my first time visiting the Dodge st location because I usually go to La vista. Aria one of the staff who started my visit was so kind and knowledgeable! It was a great experience overall!

Dr Appenzeller helped me regain the clear eyesight in my eye. I was in great need of help when I found him. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and wants the best for his patients! I just wish I had gotten to him sooner with no help from from an eye Dr I was going to before.

On February 16 and 23rd I had cataract surgery. I was scared to death. However the entire staff, upstairs and downstairs, Doctors, technicians, and office staff helped me feel more at ease and helped rescheduled appointments due to transportation problems. They answered all my questions and informed me what I needed to do post op. I felt comfortable enough to tell the nurse prepping me for surgery a secret that I've never told anyone else. And I'm 71. The staff is not afraid to laugh, like when three Susan's stood up at the same time in the waiting room. All of us Susan's were laughing too.

This was an incredible experience. This was my first time to an eye doctor as an adult, so I don't have much to compare it to, but the person who assisted the doctor and the lady who helped me with my glasses, were both incredibly professional and warm and welcoming. I felt completely comfortable. The doctor was great also very friendly and helpful. And the speed of the service was excellent. There was no long waiting periods, but I didn't feel rushed either. The lady at the front desk who checked me in was slightly condescending and appeared to hate her job, but honestly, I don't blame her I guess. As someone who knows nothing about eye care I wish I would've known that having dilated eyes was going to make me feel wasted, but now I know for the future. I purchased eyeglasses through them as well, and although I haven't received them yet, but the lady who helped me make my purchase was so great that I left knowing that I made the right choice. I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for an eye doctor.

My appointment was at 2:30, did not get called back until about 3. Then sat in the exam room with my eyes dilated and without my glasses until 4:15. Then had an exam that took less than ten minutes and was sent on my way. While the staff was polite (and the Dr. apologized when she did finally come in) I didn't appreciate being left to sit for an hour while I could hear the staff at the hub outside the exam room socializing and joking around. They need to check in and let patients know they haven't forgotten them when things are running late. I understand things don't always run exactly on time but this wait was excessive when I'd already been dilated (which gave me a migraine to boot) and without any updates when the staff clearly had time to socialize with each other.

Regarding Dr. Bliss O'Bryhim, if there were an option for 12 stars it would be more accurate. She is extremely personable, asked me how my finals went and praised my education. She is very quick with injections for my retina problems, a procedure that terrified me initially but now I'm comfortable and confident. She's the best!!

I used their online "Make an Appointment" feature and specifically requested a 2:00 PM call time because I work second shift. Instead, I received a call at 8:53 AM. I answered immediately, and the call was disconnected. When I called back later to make the appointment, I explained what had happened so they could hopefully address it. Rather than acknowledging the issue, I was told, "We don't really have the luxury of calling you exactly at the time you request -- we just try to get the calls out." There's a clear difference between being off by an hour or two and completely disregarding a requested time by more than five hours. If requested time windows aren't actually considered, the online scheduling tool shouldn't give the impression that they are. Between the dropped call and the dismissive response, this wasn't a great first impression. I'll be choosing a different provider.
