Shopko Optical

I have been going to this specific Shopko optical (Store 4056) for over 30 years. Cindy has always been there and has always made me feel like I was the only one in the store needing assistance. She always has a smile on her face and doesn't seem to have a bad day. I recommend this optical center to everyone I know. Thank you for great customer service!

I had an excellent experience at the store on 143rd. Cindy (I'm sorry I know I'm spelling her name incorrectly ) was welcoming, courteous and a great help. She told me of a special and I ended up spending less than for one pair at my previous provider. She is the store manager. Overall wonderful experience. My husband and I will be switching to the doctors there also.

Maya was Awesome in helping me find the right pair of glasses for me. She also made sure they fit well when I picked up. Wonderful experience!

I had my eye exam and I bought new glasses from the Shopko in the oakview Mall in Omaha, Nebraska. What a fantastic staff! From the first person I met all the way through to the last person. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to meet.

I'm actually really tired of the staff at this location especially the guy that works there. I called asking if my son was eligible for a new frame since his was broken. He looked it up and said he needed a new eye exam and the insurance wouldn't cover a new frame on top of getting another pair with an eye exam. That's not what I asked though-it was an unnecessary comment. I don't care about the cost he just needs a new frame asap. It wasn't that he said it, it was the WAY he said it, very snarky. He proceeds to tell me they have the pair in stock, and I could pick it up today. I said my son works (he's a teen) today but I could get it tomorrow. He said they could hold the frame. The next day, I go to pick it up, he tells me, we sold the pair this morning. Now, in my head, I was thinking, you knew I was coming, you said you'd hold the pair, why wouldn't you call me to tell me the frame was sold? It was already frustrating knowing you sold it after as Saying you'd hold it. There was no apology or empathy. He told me I could drive to another location that was too far away (more than 25 minutes) from me to get the frame. Now, wouldn't this have been easier to communicate this to me over the phone. I went out of my way to pick the frame up just to be let down.

This is the first time I went to Shopko to get my prescription glasses. From my first visit I got the sense of a family type atmosphere everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful and attentive to all customers that were there. I was especially impressed with Cynthia. The employee who initially was assisting me was having problems adjusting my glasses and Cynthia was right there to help her out and guide her through the process and help her to attain the results needed. Cynthia has an upbeat and friendly attitude with everyone. Unfortunately today, I had to return my glasses as I was unsatisfied with their fit and was really feeling stressed about it and feeling bad that I had to bring them back. When I walked in the door Cynthia greeted me with a smile and when I told her what was going on she immediately put my mind at ease, she assisted me to find another pair that fit and really made the process so much less stressful than I thought it was going to be. I'm really really impressed with her as a person and as a Shopko customer service representative. You guys need to hang on to her, she truly makes a difference.

I purchased a pair of glasses a year and a half ago. They broke and I had them replaced under the replacement plan. My replacement pair fell apart. Didn't break. The arms fell off the frame. I took them in for replacement again and Chase told me he couldn't do that. As he yawned he told me that I could set up a new eye exam. I asked to just replace the frames and he said I could purchase them at full price. I left in a pretty unsatisfied mood and won't be coming back. Frames should last longer than 6 months.

Great experience with Dr. Payne and Chase. Doctor Payne talked me through several concerns I had over medication I'm taking (that I've been told could affect my eyes at some point), family history of eye issues and even helped me walk out with some contact lens samples. Chase helped talk me through my contact purchases and my frame options with my insurance. Checkout was quick and easy. This is my second year coming here for my prescription and I'll be back in the future!
