Shopko Optical

I walk in and the lady asked me what I needed. I told her my glasses needed to be tightened she rudely said sit down it going to be a minute. She didn't want to help. She didn't want to open. She didn't want to be there. Why work there????

We've been going to Shopko for years (over 5 years) but this is the 2nd time they have had my sun choose glasses and "ordered " them just for them to not be ordered and he has to wait yett again for new ones...When I asked about the prescription the woman helping us asked me if it was the BLACK lady that helped us....Why would u describe a coworker by their race instead of just asking me, "What did the person who helped u look like?"...Like literally came in November 19th and they have NO RECORD of the girl ordering them nor do they have the glasses ready...Im so frustrated bc he cant see well without them!!!!

The doctor that examined me was super soft-spoken and gave me really good advice on how to keep my vision healthy. I genuinely felt cared for. Staff was helpful and clarified any insurance coverage questions. Frame selection was decent for higher prices but lacked a bit on the cheaper end, especially on men's aisle. (I do hope they can offer more cheaper men's frames too). *Will receive the new glasses in next couple of weeks, so will update review accordingly.*

Horrible experience for my wife. My wife went in, got there on time for her appointment, but the older woman took 20 minutes arguing with my wife that she couldn't find my info, then said because my vision insurance gets a discount at Walmart because my job has a contract with them, that we can only go to Walmart and not anywhere else, then they needed not just the last 4 digits of my social security, but my entire social to actually find my info. I made the appointment for my wife online, and she argued with my wife about that, then after an hour of waiting, they finished the paperwork, got her back there for the exam, then refused to let my wife get any cheap options, and the lady was trying to milk as much money as possible out of her, by saying she HAD to get a plastic or polycarbonate coating, when she didn't. Then said she had to get antireflective coating because her current glasses "had them" when Stanton optical put nothing on her current glasses but charged her $250 for them, saying they did. Then said she can't get blue light WITHOUT antireflective, which is false, my last three pairs of glasses only had blue light and scratch protection, no antireflective and I got them FROM HERE. So my wife left without even getting glasses. You've lost my business after this. We cannot afford to pay 300 dollars out of pocket for glasses just because you guys want to sell as much as you can. Don't go here unless you want to be ripped off.

I recently visited Shopko Optical in Omaha South and had a great experience! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the selection of eye glasses was vast. I found the perfect pair that fits my style and budget. The optician was knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions. The service was efficient, and I appreciated the attention to detail. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend Shopko Optical to others. 5 stars!

My son and I did our yearly checkup. We both picked out glasses we wanted and the corrections were done but our insurances didn't pay to well so I decided to do a different style of glasses and so did my son. After doing that the fees went away and all that was needed was for the insurance on both of our glasses. The staff were all very friendly and nice

The optometrist is really friendly and so are the staff. I was anxious about the appointment but they made me feel comfortable. They also gave me a discount for the month of July to which is pretty cool. 10/10 will go again when I need to.
