Don't bother checking in online as they persistently request. You will be waiting forever because they inexplicably expect you to also check in at the front desk. You may not check in online (as they requested) and then wait to be called upon. If you are foolish enough to believe the online check in was real and if you are especially patient this could be the beginning of a very, very long appointment. To make matters worse, the desk person acknowledged they are aware of the problem and yet they allow it to persist. Perhaps my failed surgery adds to my dismay but in a field where technology is leading the way we would all hope this particular organization would have a firm grasp on how to use it. A simple and ongoing misuse of something so common as online check in could actually be a symptom of an ongoing misuse of technology as a whole. This would lead to poorer experiences and outcomes for patients. Is this what I am experiencing?

Very poor experience, I waited an hour after my appointment had started to see someone for less than 10 minutes. I was super rushed and unable to finish my sentences when speaking to the doctor and was not given a clear diagnosis, just prescribed medication. The nurse and doctor both questioned what doctor referred me and were taken a back when I said all I did was call and make an appointment. Super confusing and off putting all around. I am currently two weeks out from the appointment and still waiting to get approved for the prescription I was prescribed, was not advised on their online prescription policy or how it works which has added to the overall poor experience. 10/10 would not recommend going here.

We had fantastic experiences with Dr Christopher Conrady and his staff. He by far is one of the best doctors I've ever interacted with. From his amazing bedside manners to his companion and caring heart. Such a great addition to the UNMC program.

An hour and a half wait for a five minute eye pressure test, and then we are done. If you can't get anybody in a reasonable time for a scheduled appointment, stop scheduling so many people in one day.

I was very impressed by everyone I dealt with during my first visit to Truhlsen on May 28, 2021. Everyone was polite, professional, and very easy to speak with. Based on my experience I highly recommend Truhlsen Eye Institute to anyone and everyone for their eye care.

Dr. Krueger needs to wear a fitted surgical mask or N95, not a cloth mask. Dr. Worrall took his mask off to examine eyes.....

Stanley M Truhlsen Eye Institute is located about midtown Omaha NE. They offer several different services. Great place Very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous staff . In addition to the eye services, there is also a retail eyeglasses shop. Plenty of parking including handicap spaces available Wheelchair accessible ramps and doors I highly recommend them Give them a try.
