Walmart Vision & Glasses

The local vision care didn't accept my Medicare Advantage Plan (they accepted half the cost - $156 - from husband's vision insurance) I went to Walmart Vision Care. This is where I should have started! Victor, a knowledgeable frame fitter, and his sales associate, were patient while I tried on an enormous number of frames. After a lengthy search, I settled on a Sophia Loren frame different than any I've ever had. Essentially, every frame in the store was allowed. Fifty dollars of the frame wasn't covered, which was better than $156 locally. The frames were finished and ready in a week (and a holiday weekend to boot)! Victor adjusted the nose pads and everything was good to go! Thank you so very much to Victor and his associate for a smooth, accurate friendly experience. I love my new frames!

My experience for this visit was horrible. When I first went in, i was greeted by the most polite lady. After the the great initial stuff, that is when I was attended by the Doctor who was ridiculous, and i do mean ridiculous. The whole time he was doing the "exam" he did not care one bit, which lasted a whole 10 min. He was like did you have different prescriptions before, i was like, i have had both the same. Then he went on on saying that he got the same for both eyes a -1.75. Before we even left the office which lasted a whole 10 min or less, he said thats what i got and the total for your visit will be $100 dollars cash or 103.00 for card. I thought it was a joke. Where I smiled and I said cash, then he proceeds to lift his had out . Does't give me a receipt until i asked for it, he gave me a shady looking written one. Then I told him i was to be given a trail lens. He's like oh yeah. walks me over and instead of giving me the correct prescription he gives me a total different one, -2.00. He said can you see fine, I said yes but the contact lenses keep moving in my eyes. He then says. Its because they are new, you should be ok. I was in disbelief. I told the lady up on front and she was amazing, she helped me get my prescription and eventually a new brand which now fit my eyes amazing. I complained to her and told me she did not know who i could call besides Customer Services because he was a contract employee. I will not be going back but i do appreciate the lady very much.

I don't recommend anyone to go to this place , I am very disappointed on how they can not even do your eyes prescription right. I have gone a couple times to fixed it but haven't been successful because the Dr. Is ONLY there on thrusday's. I spoke with Victor, who is the manager and he was very rude. All i'm asking for is a refund because my glasses order was messed up.
