Conway Eye Care - Berlin (formerly Coos Eye Care)

Just went to my annual eye exam and was dealt with with kindness and friendly staff. The doctor and assistant were tremendous professional and friendly. The smiles were everywhere in such a pleasant atmosphere! Great Job Dr. E. Reese & Staff!

Coos in Berlin is good and friendly. BUT NOT The CONWAY OFFICE! We traveled and arrived to our set appointment on time and When I arrived I was informed they had canceled it because they couldn't confirm the appointment via telephone Then they booked us into mid September this is not acceptable when its July.

I'm really not too happy with them. I brought my boyfriend's glasses in because he wanted to order new lenses. They placed the order and never said anything about his frames, just that they would call when the lenses came in. Lenses came in and my boyfriend went to have them put in. The girl that was putting the lenses in accidentally broke the frames which happens but the part that upsets me is that we had to pay for new frames. We are not the ones that broke them. They did. Their comment was, they would have broke eventually. Really? Good customer service would have been them covering the frames. They would not budge. To top it off when the new frames came in they were putting the new lenses in and broke the nose piece on the new frames. We Also had to reorder the lenses because they were scratched. So, they broke the frames twice. Also, about a year ago I reordered a frame for myself that I really liked. When the frames came in they fit a little snug but they said they would stretch. Well, they did not and they were really too small. Come to find out they ordered youth size which I am far from a youth. They would not take them back so I was stuck with an expensive set of frames that I cannot wear. All I can say is that they lost 2 good customers. I will never do business with them again.

Great place, helped me get an updated prescription and fitted for contacts in no time. The prices are reasonable too, I have no insurance and I was worried that I might have a huge bill but I went for several visits and paid about $250 for it all, if you don't add in my contacts.

I heard great things about Coos eye care so I wanted to try them. I just need an eye exam to update my prescription and new glasses. I'm a vet, so I called them to set up an Apt and was told I had to go through "Vet Care". So I called Vet care and they told me Coos Eye Care would not work with them. Hmmm, thankyou for helping the vets that already helped you. I'm not complaining or thinking that I'm deserving but just a little surprised. I did find a local facility that was very willing to work with the VA.

Very friendly staff but the billing department and billing method was awful. No way to pay online, calls were not returned and information was mishandled with my insurance company which cost me time and money.

So pleasant to deal with and very professional. They made me feel relaxed and and important at the same time. Great local business!

Always have a great visit. Always on time and all the secretaries and techs are very pleasant and helpful. The dr is very pleasant and thorough.
