My Wife, family and I have been using Dr Tsai and Ms Laplume for over 30 years. Dr Tsai is so good, pleasant, and "wicked smart". We just saw her and it was still wonderful and insightful. Ms Laplume (the optician) is wonderful at recommending, fitting, and repairing glasses. I am far sited, so supposedly I don't need regular glasses, but because I work at a computer monitor most of the day, Ms Laplume designed wonderful glasses for me, including with sun glasses which magnetically attach. So my wife and I really appreciate having them.
I have been a patient of Dr. Tsai's for about 30 years. The staff has always been accommodating and friendly, and very welcoming upon arrival. Dr. Tsai is professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. She managed not only my adult care but also my childhood care. 20/10 they are the only place I would want my own child to go.
Dr. Tsai is the BEST around. She is compassionate, thorough and welcoming. I can't thank her enough for always putting her patients first...that includes her protocol during this pandemic.
I was amazed to see a comment regarding the mask policy. If you don't want to vaccinate yourself or your child...that's your choice Ashley...go somewhere else if you aren't happy...save the rest of us from your possible exposure and negligence.
I have been seeing Dr. Tsai since I was a small child, so that's over 30 years now! She is the best there is and that is why my kids see her now. She is understanding, courteous, caring, a genuinely good person. She really cares about her patients and loves what she does.. it literally doesn't get better!! Thanks for everything over the years, Dr. Tsai!
Dr. Tsai is amazing. Skilled, thorough, knowledgeable, efficient and kind. Been coming to her since I was young, and still making the long trek to see her decades later... She and her staff are friendly, courteous, and caring. Wonderful physician and office.
Dr Tsai is an excellent opthalmologist! We have been going to her for at least 30 years. She is incredibly knowledgeable, answers questions so you can understand them.
Her staff is welcoming and friendly.
Dr. Tsai is a great eye doctor, no arguments there! However, after my son's most recent appointment, we do not plan to return. They called me on a Friday afternoon, to confirm our Tuesday appointment. I expected the typical Covid screening questions, but the problems began when I informed them that my CHILD has not had the Covid vaccine. They asked if he's worn a mask when he's left the house for the past two weeks, and I said no, and that he has already recovered from having Covid months ago. They informed me that I might not be able to bring him to the appointment and that they would need to "discuss this issue with Dr Tsai" on Monday. Monday came and they called to inform me that I would need to provide a negative PCR test before the next morning. Obviously, time-wise, that was impossible. They told me I would need to reschedule for NEXT MAY. My son has seen an eye specialist every 3-6 months since he was 2... waiting until May was not an option. After multiple phone calls back and forth, and me arguing their outrageous demands, they "agreed" to see my son. I informed them that I would provide a negative at-home rapid test and we would wear masks. When we arrived for the appointment, the tension in the office was ridiculous. I wasn't allowed to complete my screening paperwork at the door. They rushed me into a room and turned on an air purifier. Dr Tsai entered the room and began making comments almost immediately. She told my son to hold his surgical mask down so she could safely check his eyes. She then told him "You are endangering yourself and others because your mask is leaking on the sides and doesn't fit you properly." Can we just take a moment to ponder the mental and emotional impact of a respected, professional adult demonizing my CHILD? I am an RN, who cares for Covid patients, and had thought it amusing up to this point how poorly fitted her N95. I informed her that her mask was leaking as well. She snapped back at me that it did fit. The visit spiraled from there. Snide remarks were made from her while we just had to sit there and take it. We remained respectful and pretended that she wasn't treating us like second rate citizens. She rushed through his exam and was so filled with anxiety that I almost felt sorry for her. The entire visit felt even more bizarre since she had seen my son in the spring, and had been perfectly lovely. Unless you are fully vaccinated, wearing an N95 (kids included apparently), AND willing to provide a rapid Covid test, don't bother going to Dr Tsai. She has, sadly, fully given herself over to Covid hysteria.
Awesome, Dr. Tsai listens, suggests and genuinely cares about you. I never feel rushed or forgotten. Her staff is great, knowledgeable and professional.
