My 14 year old daughter has worn glasses for almost 3 years, and was ready to explore using contacts this year. She was nervous to try them, and was not sure how she could successfully manage putting them in and taking them out. From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind and patient, making us both feel at ease. It took her a few visits, but she finally got the hang of it! Dr. Daldine and Dr. Samuel took the time to talk to her and make her feel comfortable and special. We highly recommend Lumen Eye to anyone looking for an optometrist office that is kind, welcoming, and truly cares about their patients.

I am a patient there. I went in for my annual exam and everyone there is so kind and helpful. I had a detailed visit and they take their time with you and you are not just a number. Family owned is the way to go. Dr. Douville works there after retirement from his Merrimack office. We followed him over there, and even though he only works one day once a month he is there for patients like My Mom who always adored him. If you want good quality care I highly recommend them.

Wearing glasses is somewhat new for my 16 year old daughter and bringing her to Lumen, was the best thing I could have done for her. Everybody was kind and Dr. Patty is exceptional. Her thoroughness and gentle demeanor provided my daughter with instant ease and confidence. The appointment ended with a class, including the trial of contact lenses and my daughter had the best experience. The lovely lady who finished the appointment laughing with her, made her day. To include the most pleasant fitting of glasses, as well. All moms of teens know the struggle when it comes to pleasing them and per my daughter's words :"Everybody there was so kind and patient. It felt like an outing and not a medical appointment. I loved it there."
They will forever have my family's loyalty and if you give them a chance, trust me, they'll have yours too!

As a patient, you never feel rushed because the waiting room is full and your five minutes with the doctor is over. The staff is professional and friendly. I am very impressed with Dr. Samuel's professionalism and kindness. I was misdiagnosed with a "severe" cataract by another eye care office years ago and was advised to have surgery as soon as possible. However, this diagnosis did not match how I personally felt. That's why I visited Dr. Samuel for a second opinion. She carefully examined my eyes and assured me that I only have a mild cataract and that no surgery is needed anytime soon. Wow--Dr. Samuel not only truly cares about her patients, but also makes medical decisions based on facts rather than profit. I would highly recommend her to any friends who need an eye doctor.
