I've been buying my progressive lenses at a shop in Peabody MA for several years. Suddenly her lens price jumped drastically. I did my homework online and came upon your Plaistow location. I first called and was warmly greeted over the phone. When I arrived I was treated with such respect, kindness, professionalism, and, I wasn't pressured at all. I'm lower income, and I was so grateful for their very affordable prices. And, the guarantee too. I purchased a beautiful new frame, and the progressive lenses are terrific. I couldn't be more pleased. An A+ experience.

It was my first time here and I was very pleased with the customer service and the doctor. Dr. Samuel was amazing and very thorough. She discovered that my eye muscles are quite weak on one side which is causing me headaches. The front desk checked me out and wasn't pushy about buying frames from them. I will most definitely come back!

I have been going to LensDoctors (now MyEyeDr) for years and have never had an issue until now. I recently went in for an eye exam and was given single vision glasses even though I wear progressives (I have been in bifocals/progressives since I was 3), and all of my prior prescriptions from here include that I wear progressives. I went back in and had them fixed to include the reading prescription. No biggie, mistakes happen. The prescription was still wrong. After going in a third time, and getting another, very different prescription, I still can't see at all out of my glasses. At this point I'm just gonna go to a new eye doctor and pay out of pocket for an eye exam because I don't think MyEyeDr is able to give me a proper prescription, nor do I want to wait any longer for a fourth appointment to attempt to amend my prescription again.

They're super nice and really take their time to help you through the whole process, from the eye exam to picking out glasses. The prices are pretty average, and if anything happens to your glasses, they've always been cool about trying to fix them for free.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. My reason for giving a low rating is due to having issues with my new lenses coming in with the correct prescription on them. I ordered new lenses and one of the lenses was not made properly, they fixed it. I was still having issues with my eyes so the doctor I see changed my prescription again and the last I dealt with was great and helped me exchange the lenses so I didn't have to buy a whole new set but they had to take my frames leaving me with no glasses. I got an update that my glasses came in but had to be sent back because the lenses again were not made correctly. I'm now going to be going 2 or more weeks with my glasses that I need to see. Lens Doctor please see what can be done to ensure that the lab you're working with can have better quality control because I like your office but can't afford to have this happen every time I get new lenses or glasses.

I have been using Lens Doctor for many years. No problems until this year. I was not able to select my own frame style, I had to chose from a selection that the associate had chosen. When my glasses came in, I had to take them back to be adjusted, was told that the glasses came in without the transitions I had ordered and that they needed to order the correct lenses....more wait time then go back to have the lenses swapped. When I told the associate that I absolutely did not like my frames, she looked at me, rolled her eyes and said "you need to give it more time". Really!?!? I'm the one who is wearing them!!! Don't want to listen to me but quick to use my insurance. Sorry Lens Doctors, I'm going to have to start looking elsewhere. 10/25/21 This problem was updated and resolved by a very nice professional associate Christine, who took the time to understand my feelings and make the situation right as well as answer my questions.

First time to this awesome practice. Everyone from the receptionist to the check out was great! I went in not being able to see clearly and was very concerned that my eyesight was changing so much in the past few months. The doctor was able to fit me with new contacts which helped tremendously and she also recommended eye drops which are working already! I am very pleased and will be returning and recommending Lens Doctors to everyone I know! Thank you!

After my first appointment and receiving my glasses the frames fell apart while on my face. Seeing as this was in the first week I took them in to have them fixed or replaced. I was told this was my fault even though all I had done was put them on my face. They then bent and broke the frames more to "fix" them. Refusing to replace them and sending me on my way. They have broken every couple days for the past year. This week I got a text that they automatically scheduled me an appointment for this year. "As a courtesy." A courtesy would have been to fix or replace the frames I just spent hundreds of dollar on and are vital to my sight. Please don't waste your time on this establishment as they do not stand behind their work.
