Everyone involved with this business, from the receptionist right up the doctors, is top-notch at plying their craft. The employees are friendly, professional, and know their jobs well. I can't tell you how pleased I am to have chosen them to diagnose and see me through the two cataract surgeries I am in the process of having done. My first surgery was yesterday, the second is scheduled for August 20th. I know I will receive the same care with the left eye that I received for the right eye. It's so important to know that you have chosen the best and this is exactly what you will be getting. I consider myself privileged to be in their capable hands. I wish I had words big enough to express my gratitude to this most excellent team.

My experience with Dr. Kung was nothing short of amazing and efficient. I went to him for my first cataract removal and was very nervous about the whole experience. When entering their facility, the professionalism of the staff was outstanding. I had some problems with my PCP referrals and they handled all that without any intervention from me. They examined me, gave me my options, and outlined the whole process and sent me home with a folder of information. Day of surgery was pretty fast and efficient. In and out the door was about an hour but he lazered my cataracts really fast and replaced my lens fast as well. No pain. I was patched up within 10 minutes. Came back from my post op with no complications. My vision was improved. I keep telling my family that when it comes to doctors, Dr. Kung has his operational team working at peak efficiency. I would recommend Dr. Kung and his partners 100%.

Dr. Kung is my new ophthalmologist. I cannot express well enough my high satisfaction with my choice. While my other doctor was great too, there was not enough communication. At the first visit, Dr. Kung was amazing, very thorough and pertinent in his evaluation, being very kind and personable, took his time explaining everything. Staff was very professional, pleasant and efficient. The office is very comfortable, sunny and clean.

I was referred To Kung eye Institude by St. PETERS HOSPITAL (ER) in New Brunswick, NJ. I found the doctors to be extremely knowledgeable, kind, empathetic but most of all outstandung doctors who treat their patients with respect and care. The staff as well such as Michelle and Isabel and Noelle treated everyone so well and made you feel welcomed. These ladies and so many others treated me like a person and not like a number waiting to be seen inside. There were a lot of nurses/technicians who took care of me, each doing a different part of the procedures and each being as nice and professional as can be. This was the nicest group of people that I have met in quite some time that truly "Cared" about each patient. Very quick to answer questions without hesitation and kind as can be. I wanted to "pinch MYSELF because they were so kind. So far I've seen Dr. JOHN KONG, Dr. YU and Dr. ARMOLDI. ALL doctors were Outstanding. I would recommend this eye Institute to anyone who has to have your eyes looked at or eye surgery. "This is the place to go too". You will definitely Never Find such Great doctors and a Fabulouous Staff who truly care elsewhere.

Kung Eye Center is Wonderful! Dr. Yu has been my main ophthalmologist at the Kung Eye Center for the past year as I dealt with cataracts, severe dry eyes and infection after infection. My left eye was the worst and Dr. Yu brought the dryness and infections under control. My first cataract surgery for the left eye was January 11, 2021 and my second cataract surgery of the right eye was February 8, 2021. Both procedures went very well and the surgery center is so close! Dr. Yu is a very patient, understanding, compassionate, extremely intelligent and highly skilled physician. I have had a few eye emergencies over the past year and the office ALWAYS brought me in to see one of the doctors. Sometimes, patients do wait a little longer in the waiting room... please understand that emergencies arise and are extremely scary for that patient. The entire staff at Kung Eye Center is great! Always very kind, helpful, and understanding!

Dr. Kung performed my first surgery in 2001 which was a corneal transplant and since then He performed another transplant and several other delicate procedures throughout the years. I have developed a trusting relationship not only with him but his staff. He is skilled, professional and has a fantastic bed-side manner. His practice is everything one hopes for when you place your health and care in the hands of a physician. You will not find a more state the art, more human doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Kung and his practice!!!

The receptionist asserted that I was pregnant. When I questioned "what pregnancy", she laughed looked at my stomach and in a surprised tone said "oh" laughed and said "I guess I shouldn't have said that". Thanks for the body shaming.

I have been a patient of this practice for over 10 years. I will relay my last two experiences. My last routine visit, walked in and 4 ladies at the front desk stood there having a personal conversation and ignored me as I stood there awaiting to be acknowledged. Eventually, I just signed on the pad right in front of them and took a seat. I was finally acknowledged about 10 minutes later when they were done chatting. This weekend, I had an emergency. I awoke on Sunday morning with terrible swelling and pain of my eye. I called the emergency number and reported my symptoms and concerns about the severity of the swelling. I never received a call back. As an office manager for 30 years in the dental industry, I know a thing or two about patient care and customer service. I will never patronize this practice again. Customer service and patient emergencies are not something this office concerns themselves with.
