I had a fantastic experience at the LensCrafters on Route 18 in East Brunswick! The staff was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the entire process. They took the time to assist me with selecting the perfect frames and answered all of my questions. The optician was thorough during the eye exam, making sure I felt comfortable with everything. Overall, the customer service was top-notch, and I left feeling confident in my purchase. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for quality eyewear and excellent service

My son and I were in NJ for vacation. Went to Six Flags and his glasses flew off on a roller coaster. My mom recommended I call LensCrafters for help, and boy was she right! Joe and Greg were so nice and took great care of us. I was able to email them my sons's prescription and they checked to see if they had the lenses in stock before I drove out. We were in luck! We immediately went to the store and they helped my son find the exact clear kid frames that he wanted. Once they had the logistics, they told us about some places in the area that we could visit pass the time while they worked. They said it would take approximately 1 hour, but instead it only took 30 minutes! We were able to get glasses in time to catch our Broadway show that evening! This LensCrafters location was the best! So glad our hotel was only 9 min from them.

I've visited this store many times, and the staff is always hardworking and professional, even when dealing with customers who are rude, entitled, and unwilling to wait like everyone else. During my visit last night 11/13/25, I watched an employee handle an especially difficult situation with so much patience and professionalism. A small mistake had been made with a customer's order, and instead of understanding that errors occasionally happen, the customer became loud, demanding, and incredibly disrespectful. The employee immediately acknowledged the mistake and did everything possible to fix it quickly and make it right. Despite their best efforts, the customer continued to act entitled and inconsiderate, insisting they shouldn't have to wait or be treated like "everyone else." What stood out to me was how calm and composed the employee remained the entire time. They owned the mistake, worked hard to rectify it, and still offered kindness in return for the negativity being thrown at them. It's upsetting to see people treat employees so poorly over something that was already being resolved. Mistakes happen -- it's how they're handled that matters, and this team handled it with grace. Huge credit to the staff for staying professional and respectful, even when customers don't. They deserve appreciation, patience, and basic human kindness. I'll absolutely continue shopping here because of how well they treat people, even when others don't treat them the same. AND TO THE To ENTITLED and unnecessarily rude patient: I genuinely hope you seek help for whatever led to your unjust behavior and the inaccurate review you chose to leave. Your actions were uncalled for, and directing that negativity toward hardworking staff was undeserved.

Outstanding Service at LensCrafters - Thanks to Joe Dunn! Our experience at LensCrafters was nothing short of amazing, all thanks to Joe Dunn! My daughter and I went in to get our glasses and sunglasses done, and the care, patience, and professionalism Joe showed us were exceptional. He was courteous, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of. Joe even recommended we check out the Brunswick Mall branch for a wider selection of frames since my daughter was having trouble finding the perfect pair. Unfortunately, that visit was a complete disappointment -- the elderly woman who assisted us there was rude and dismissive, making us feel completely unwelcome. Without hesitation, we drove all the way back to Joe's location on Route 18 -- and it was absolutely worth the drive! The warmth, professionalism, and genuine care from Joe and the entire team made all the difference. Kudos to Joe and the wonderful staff at the Route 18 LensCrafters -- you've earned loyal customers for life!

I bought a pair of glasses from this Lens Crafters multiple times. Plus, I went to two other stores prior times before (Brunswick Square Mall + Marketplace Mall). I will continue to choose this Lens Crafters Store (1113), because the people here are knowledgeable, they are patient and kind, and they explain things without sounding annoyed nor talk down on you. Talking to the workers here is the best customer service; if you don't know what customer service is, since many interactions at public places have no interactions with humans anymore (just "tap," "tap" on screens), your best example for top customer service is to ask for Gregory. What a wonderful person and personable, as well. I came in wanting the same glasses that I came in with, since my prescription had changed and was due for new glasses. I tried on a few others, but still seeking for the same frames from before. I had the goal in mind to just get new lenses and not the frames, but Gregory showed the pricing for both single lenses versus buying new frames with new lenses. The second option, with the frames and lenses, was the better choice financially by $50! It would obviously be a no brainer to get the new frames, but I had a fear that the new frames would not fit my face. (prior years I had my glasses fitted at a different Lens Crafters, and they would get frustrated with me when I told them the glasses still did not fit me correctly). However, Gregory was patient with me. I did ended up buying the new frames and lenses, while I got the idea from Gregory to keep my old frames in case the new ones broke. It has been months ago since I should have written this review, specifically April 30th, so hopefully Gregory is still working at that store. But if he is still there, ask for him. Patient, kind, and personable. Did not push and was a great educator at the same time.

Love coming to only this Lens Crafters because of both Gregory & Jon the optician. They both are incredibly patient, kind & efficient. Thank you both for all you do :)

It's my personal opinion trying to select the right progressive prescription glasses can be difficult. There are several types of progressive lenses. Joe Dunn was exceptional in educating me on the right progressive lenses for my specific needs. Mr. Dunn is honest, knowledgeable, experienced, personable & patient. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks Joe !

I was actually extremely happy with everything and pleasantly surprised... we were driving to another eye glass place and noticed this place so decided to stop there first and everything could not have gone better! The Ophthalmologist there is very experienced and has a great personality as well! I bought 2 pairs of glasses, sun and regular and can't wait until they come in! I would give them 10 Stars if it was available!!
