Witlin Center for Advanced Eye Care

Today I had the opportunity to visit the Center for Advanced Eye Care. I was extremely satisfy with their service. As a new patient, I was able to make an appointment the same day I called. They took me in right away. The doctor's assistants were kind and answered all my questions. They did all kinds of tests to meet my needs. The doctor was very helpful and cordial. She prescribed the medicine to help me with my eyes irritation. I highly recommend this center.

Completely frustrated with the scheduling and lack of flexibility. My wife was originally set to see Dr. Naadimuthu, but after a simple request to change the appointment, we were rescheduled with Dr. Worthington instead. Despite explaining the situation and asking multiple times to keep the original doctor, we were told we'd need another evaluation, even though all our records were already sent over. This is poor customer service, and it feels like they don't care about patients' time or preferences. Very disappointed.

My husband and I visited Dr. Worthington back in July when he had a freak accident playing basketball and left him with two scratched corneas, two days before the NJ Bar exam. The front office was extremely accommodating with fitting us in after our 4 hour drive up from Virginia. I had heard numerous great things from family members about Dr. Worthington and we were very thankful to be able to get in to see her. Her level of care was amazing, she was very thorough and was so flexible seeing my husband between testing days to help administer eye medication and change the contacts on his eyes. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for emergency or routine eye care!

This is an extraordinary medical office with exemplary medical and office staff, from front desk to surgery coordinator to Doctors. I had my cataract surgery and glaucoma procedures done 6 weeks ago and I cannot think of a more positive experience then I had at The Witlin Center. Beginning with the front desk staff who were professional and attentive and continuing to the Doctors who are simply the best, I can without reservation recommend them as a first choice for eye care. Dr. Desai was the first contact for evaluation and he is just incredible. Dr. Naadi who did my surgery is amazing as was the procedure she did. The followup by Dr's Hanna and Worthington have been caring and informative. This experience was so positive that I have absolutley no qualms about by Wife having the same procedures next month. Thank you Witlin Center.

Front desk staff and doctors that I've seen were super nice and accommodating! My normal optometrist was on vacation but referred me to the East Brunswick location who thankfully were able to fit me in day of for an emergency visit. Special shout out to Randi and Tanisha at the front desk who were able to work with me regarding my insurance and multiple visits. Definitely would recommend this office to others!

I had to go to the Witlin Eye Center after getting a corneal abrasion. Dr. Worthington was the on call Dr. and she was amazing. She was kind and informative and took her time. She showed genuine concern and even followed up with me throughout the weekend! The staff at the Witlin Eye Center was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend all of my friends and family to go see Dr. Worthington.

I had an appointment for my dry eye in Dec,2023 with Cherry Hanna. The purpose was to get a refill, but I was called for eye testing. Instead of the doctor checking me as usual there was an African American girl who was doing the tests. She kept flashing a blue light in my eyes multiple times and did not care what was happening. At that time I felt odd, and questioned her also also about the side effects. After that another nurse came and did some tests. The doctor then came had a look and issued the prescription. When I reached home I felt dizzyish and light headed. I called the office but they just shrugged it off and told me to go to my primary care. This sudden feeling of light headedness carried on, on and off for the last six months. Please be very careful when you go for testing your eyes.

Let me start off by saying that I never had a problem with the East Brunswick medical staff. However, I would like to address that I came to the Freehold facility for surgery for my recurrent corneal erosion and it was a not a pleasant experience from the beginning. In short, here is a summary of my experience: - The availability of the specialists is limited. - The Freehold staff was extremely rude during my last visit because I forgot to bring a mask (instead of just simply asking politely to put one on). - The surgery itself was not executed properly enough to fix the issue. (When I went elsewhere for a second opinion, they not only fixed my eye problem, but concluded the methods used from the previous Ophthalmologist were unnecessary). - Billing was EXTREMELY rude and unpleasant. Because they put in my wrong address (did not include my apartment #) and never sent my bill, they called my cellphone out of the blue (4 days before Christmas) and wanted me to pay $170+ on the spot. When I insisted on them sending the bill to the correct address and that I will pay them once received, the individual on the phone got extremely NASTY and DISRESPECTFUL to the point where I had to get off the phone before I lost my temper. In sum, if you want a pleasant, effective, and smooth experience DO NOT go here. I would HIGHLY suggest going elsewhere because your sight is a delicate part of life and some of the staff here have little to no regard for human emotion and efficacy in their work. I went somewhere else and the staff were AMAZING and my eye was saved. Happy Holidays!
