Paul Kossis, OD

Just had my first visit today with Dr. Kossis. Dr. Kossis was very thorough in his examination and truly cares about his patients. He spent time to actually discuss my overall health and how it contributes to my eye health. In a world full of corporations, I enjoyed the individualized care. All of his staff were friendly as well. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Paul Kossis is a great optometrist!! I've been reminded of his great skill , love and desire to help his clients during their appointments! He is quick, thorough and truly is a talented doctor! I knew this already but I was reminded today at my checkup post pregnancy the slight effects pregnancy could have on your eyesight! He was so reassuring! Thank you so much Dr. Paul for your great expertise. We're so thankful to have you!!

This guy is a jerk as is his receptionist. These positive reviews here must come from his friends. I called his office to make an appointment for blepharitis treatment. I left a detailed voicemail with my insurance info. My call was not returned so I called back, only to discover he does not take my secondary insurance. The doctor got on the phone and was very condescending. He treated me like I am stupid, when I am almost as educated as he is. I am well-versed in my eye conditions. He said they would put me on a wait list as he was booked for several months. This guy would have to pay ME to visit his office. I immediately called another optometrist and got an appointment right away. Avoid this guy and find another competent eye specialist with pleasant office staff!

Dr. Kossis has been my family eye doctor for over 20 years. He is very thorough and he knows his patients names. His staff are very helpful.

Dr Paul will forever have my business. I brought my seven-year-old son to him for an eye exam at the suggestion of his teacher. The teacher told me he was holding his books a little funny and wanted him to have his eyes checked. I am so glad that we went! I told Dr. Paul the situation and told him that I didn't understand because he could spot an Eagle a mile away in the air ... he said "from his right eye..." Poor kid needed glasses! The doctor was so incredibly thorough and answered, not only all of my questions, but got on the phone to answer my husband's questions a few hours later, because he was not present. It gets better... When conducting the eye exam, he began to ask my son questions about the letters when I explain to the doctor that my son is also dyslexic, he immediately shifted and gave him a different style test. He was jovial, very kind, and competent. He was clearly amazing with children and you could just tell that he is a dad himself. No words to express my appreciation. Dr. Paul is now my go to optometrist.

Dr. Kossis is kind, competent, caring, accessible. He went way, way out of his way to see me when I had a very serious eye emergency. After his initial exam that morning, he was able to get me an appt. with Mid Atlantic Retina later that very a.m. Had I not taken his advice, I would have been in double trouble. He completely understood the severity of my situation. Will forever be grateful to him.

I had to call after hours due to scratching my eye pretty badly, within 30 mins Paul met me at his office and treated my eye . I'd give 20 stars if I could, the office was immaculately clean and treatment was top notch !!!

Dr. Kossis is a very nice doctor. He makes his patients understand everything throughly. He also understands a patient's needs and requirements. He does not rush through a patient just to get to another one. He makes each patient understand their problems. Thank you!
