I've been a patient of Dr. Hartman for over 10 years, and I couldn't ask for a better eye doctor. He is always thorough, patient, and genuinely cares about my eye health. Each visit is personalized, and he takes the time to explain everything clearly. His professionalism and kindness have earned my complete trust over the years. First time at a new eye dr in years. This is the best eye doctor i've ever had! Dr. Hartman was thorough in the examination, allowed me space to voice concerns, appears very knowledgeable, and i didn't waste any time in waiting room. I would give him more stars if i could. I highly recommend being seen by him.

Great experience. Dr. Hartman took his time with both my husband and me. When we had a question regarding various lens qualities, Dr. Hartman actually drew a diagram for us, while explaining the nuances of each type of lens. We were then better able to understand the differences. My husband needed an adjustment of his frames, and Dr Hartman made himself available immediately. Low key, and he doesn't pressure you to buy more expensive frames. Great experience .

I visited Dr. Hartman last week. I asked for his first available and he was able to accommodate me, the same day. Which was great b/c I had to d/c a medication until I saw an ophthalmologist. He is such an amazing doctor, very through, explained everything he did and the results very clearly. I highly recommend this ophthalmologist!!

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Hartman. My 11 year old has terrible doctor anxiety and Dr. Hartman's patience, kindness, and ability to be respectful and explain each step thoroughly allowed her to be calm and actually have a good time! I was very touched by his warmth toward both my girls. I also had a great exam and appreciated how thorough he was. How many good things can I say about Dr. Hartman? He is one of the most patient, understanding people I have ever met. He walks you through what he's doing so calmly even in rough situations. He is always available to answer questions on the phone or in person. He goes out of his way no matter what to make sure you get the care you need. He is very thorough in his work and as reliable as it gets. I thought I went to good eye doctors before, they don't even compare to Dr. Hartman. If you are looking for a place for an eye exam, or a medical issue, he's the man you need to see.

I've been a happy patient of Dr. Hartman for over ten years. His office is conveniently located just off Rt 38 on the corner of Madison Av and Lexington Av. Can not miss his location. On site parking. I have never had a problem with parking. Doc is a very soft spoken easy going professional guy who makes you feel comfortable. He explains what he is doing step by step. Visits are always quick no waiting because the doc is busy with another patient in the waiting room or in the examination room. Dr. Hartman is fantastic! He explains every step of the exam. Welcomes all questions and is very efficient. I called to schedule appointments for my husband and me. He got us in the next day. After going to various other places in the past, his service is far superior and very personable!
