The Retina Clinic

Terrible experience. We were the first and only people to arrive and were told we just needed to see the doctor next. Somehow the waiting room became full, and people who arrived after us were going in and out while we continued to wait with no communication. As the room started clearing out, no one approached us to let us know we were next. When we asked the front desk, we received attitude and were told again that we were next--yet the same thing continued to happen. We had to get up a second time just to get answers. The front desk staff seemed more focused on joking and talking with each other than helping patients.Four to five in the front talk date 1/13/26 times 10am-12.The check happened within 10 minutes. To see the Dr. next shouldn't have taken that long. For a full waiting room, even small things like turning on the TV to make the wait more comfortable weren't addressed. Overall, very unprofessional and frustrating experience.

After coming from my eye doctor they found a retinal tear. He referred me to a different doctor that didn't take my insurance and then referred me to the clinic. I saw Dr. Coady and the whole team is amazing. Everyone I saw was so kind and caring and easy to work with. Dr. Coady was super nice and had a wonderful bedside manner. Ended up doing the laser procedure right then and there. It was super quick. His team is very responsive to answering questions. Highly recommend. I'll be working with him intermittently with my regular eye doctor now that I'm high risk.

Have been seeing Dr Patel for nearly 9 years and I have to say that he is one of the most caring, compassionate doctors I have ever met. He explains everything he is doing and listens to me. That's important! His staff has always been warm and welcoming. Never had a problem with anyone in his office. I now have been seeing Dr Coady and his level of care is on par with Dr Patel. Thank you all for your commitment to my health and wellbeing! A+

I feel very safe at the retina clinic and I felt that the quality was all there in the even remember your birthday and send you a happy birthday message I haven't been this happy about finding a good doctor in a long time

So far all of my experiences at The Retina Clinic have been positive. From registration to testing to meeting with the doctor I have no complaints and would recommend the clinic to my family and friends. Dr. Coady is very pleasant and keeps me well informed of my care.

I was seen on an emergency basis after losing the vision in my right eye. Dr.Coady and his entire staff were warm, reassuring and professional. I had a hemorrhage in the vitreous so the retina could not be seen. Dr. Coady gave me advice to follow, said a doctor would be on call if needed over the weekend before I flew home to Florida. I would highly recommend Dr. Coady and this practice for your eye care! I felt that I received excellent care.

Drove 45-50 minutes to my appointment to be turned away because my insurance is no longer accepted and needed a referral. I got a call TWICE for a confirmation of this appointment and the main receptionist at the desk couldn't tell me ahead of time??? She was like it's the patient's responsibility to know about the referral, okay I get that, but is it my responsibility to know that you don't accept my insurance or is that your responsibility to tell me AHEAD of time? On top of it this appointment was a RESCHEDULED appointment because the doctor couldn't meet on a certain day, and I have an ongoing issue. Which was told at the time of the scheduling of the appointment. The doctor is great, but his front end desk staff is incompetent.

Referred to Dr. Patel by my Optometrist since I had a tear in my retina. It was after 5pm, but Dr. Patel and his assistant, Maria still saw me. I am a very anxious person by nature, so having a problem with my eye was really very scary. Dr. Patel explained what was happening in a calm manner while also expressing its urgency for repair. Since I'm writing this 2 days after my treatment, it is difficult to review since I'm unsure of the final outcome. As they say, "The proof is in the pudding." However, at this point I would recommend him. Also, I have to say that Maria was very patient with me. My eyelashes and large nose made it difficult to take a good picture of my retina. If she got exacerbated with me, she never let that on to me. Other comments: driving home was somewhat hard. After eye numbness wore off, pain was enough that I could not fall asleep without over the counter pain medication. It would have been nice to get a "check up" call the next day to see how I was doing. I would have given a 5 star review, however as mention above, it still early in the game.
