Very nice office. Easily accessible for my daughter with disabilities. Friendly staff and short wait. Dr. Wexler was very friendly, patient and kind with my daughter who has significant disabilities and has a hard time with Dr appointments. Highly recommend Dr Wexler.

I had such a horrible experience with the provider. All I can say is that she lacks empathy and compassion for her patients. As for myself, I will not be returning to this practice. No parent should feel this way. Dr. W. completely dismissed the principles of the Hippocratic Oath she took to become a doctor. Particularly the duty to treat patients with compassion and respect. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and reviewed by the practice.

I am filing a complaint to the state board. Amy wexler was horrible her attitude was so intolerable. We were treated like shit as soon as we walked in. I have a toddler I been controlling him. she kept rudely making comment about him . Then she refused to treat him after she put the dilating drops in his eyes. That's after my husband confronted her and informed her that she had a very bad attitude. She lacks empathy. I will be filing a complaint to the state. Before ur a doctor u need to be a good person and she lacks that. I will make sure to spread the word and let everyone know that she's a terrible doctor .

Our experiences with Dr. Wexler have been wonderful, she has been seeing my daughter since she was 6m old, the way she handles her and bedside manner reassures me that my daughter is in good hands. I appreciate her thoroughness and despite being at the doctor's, she makes my daughter laugh and feel comfortable. She's never made us feel rushed despite MY being late to our last appointment, in fact, I was thankful she was still able to see us despite her busy schedule. I would recommend her for your child pediatric needs.

If you are worried about your child's comfort, I strongly advise against visiting this office. We had an appointment with (((( Amy Wexler )))) and our experience was deeply disappointing. The staff were aggressive with our child and came across as very rude. After reading other reviews, it's clear we are not the only family who regrets going here. I would not recommend this practice to any parent.

I hardly write reviews but I feel strongly about taking the time to write this one. We were extremely dissatisfied with our appointment for my 4 year old son. She came highly recommended to us for children. We took our son for an eye issue he was having. She didn't look at me when I was speaking to her explaining his symptoms. She just looked at her computer screen. She had little patience for young children and a terrible bedside manner. She made rude comments to me about my 1 year old's "behavior" during the appointment. It seems as though she doesn't enjoy children at all. She told me my son's eyes and vision were completely fine and no follow up was needed. She chalked up his constant eye rubbing as a motor tick, common, and developmental. Fast forward another 6 weeks and we were seen by a CHOP peds eye doc for a second opinion because everything about our apt with Dr. Wexler didn't sit well with me and we left with a clear diagnosis for my son and treatment plan. My son's constant eye rubbing was due to something completely diagnosable and treatable. The CHOP eye doc explained every time my son blinks it feels as though a foreign body is being dragged through his eyes which explains why he was constantly rubbing his eyes. Being that he is 4 he can't properly verbalize exactly what he is feeling/experiencing. She prescribed him 3 different types of eye drops to be used over a period of time to correct his issue. The poor kid was rubbing his eyes due to pain and discomfort that he had to live with for an extended period of time because he was not diagnosed by Dr. Wexler. I wanted to share our experience to warn others and to remind others that if something doesn't feel right, always get a second opinion!

Dr Wexler seems to have a high rating however when meeting her for my three year olds appointment she barely introduced herself. Not only was she cold, but she then proceeded to put eye drops in my sons eyes without even discussing what they were for. In addition to this, during the exam for my THREE YEAR OLD, she proceeded to make comments about his behavior (he was crying and scared) and stated "you're not gonna kick me buddy". The worst part of this interaction with this woman was she did not even turn around from her computer to speak to me about my son. No questions were asked and the interaction was very cold. She sat there typing her notes. Good thing I was able to see the computer and what she was writing because she wrote that my son might have autism. Instead of asking me if he had autism or asking me if he was ever evaluated she assumes he is and writes that in her note to justify his behavior and her poor evaluation. In addition she states my three year old might need to be placed under anesthesia to look into his eye and/or get a second opinion from another ophthalmologist because her assessment was void. Although I was happy to get an appointment with Dr. Wexler, due to her reviews and awards,I will be getting a second opinion for my child because this appointment and her evaluation was cold, unprofessional and useless. Please take this review into consideration prior to making an appointment for your child because I never write reviews and think they are petty and a waste of time however this interaction with this doctor was the worst I have experienced. It doesn't matter how many awards, recognitions, degrees or high ratings you have. You need to treat people (and your patients who give you your salary) like humans. Especially the little ones that you serve. Either that or RETIRE! Sincerely, one mother that cares too much.

My 5 year old daughter came here for an eye exam and she is usually scared of doctors. She did great with the exam and only cried about the eye drops. We left the office with my child thanking me for the doctor visit. Thank you Dr Wexler!!
