Visionworks Doctors of Optometry

My experience at this location (Mt Laurel, NJ) has been terrible. I had an appointment today and was turned away because I was 8min late. Never was told about their 10min grace period btw. And when I asked I was met with "well every doctors office has a grace period" so nonchalantly by the manager. I drove 30min to get to my appointment, and was told they were trying to contact me however the girl who I scheduled with in person failed to make sure they had the most up to date contact information for me. So they were calling the wrong number. After being turned away I called to speak to a manager. I was met with a very robotic "I'm sorry for the inconvenience " I was highly upset because I was counting on my appointment today because my glasses recently broke and I was looking to be able to order more today. Now I have to go two weeks without being able to fully see because of their negligence. I've worked at a doctors office before and it's mandatory that when a patient comes in to make an appointment, you confirm their information. I want them to be held accountable for their actions and failure to right their wrong. The manager didn't even offer to squeeze me in later, I had to ask if that was possible. But was given a time three hours after my initial appointment time. I live 30min away and have other things to do. The fact that I was offered such a late time slot shows no consideration for my time as well. I am never going back to this location. It's not worth the drive. Sadly theirs another one that's abit farther, but my experience there hasn't been bad so I have to make the additional travel now to go to that one. This is unacceptable and I would not recommend anyone who values themselves, their time, and efforts not go to this location as they don't seem to care about yours.

Great experience at the Mount Laurel Visionworks. The most welcoming and helpful staff. They were all courteous, and willing and ready to be of assistance. The optician was very thorough, but also very efficient. I was able to complete my exam and purchase glasses within an hour. The staff was very attentive and was able to provide me with good insights to make a good decision. Will definitely be returning and referring colleagues.

My experience at Vision Works was great. There was a cancellation and I was called for a appointment. There was little waiting and the representative was very nice and professional. The optometrist was professional knowledgeable and very relatable. The other representatives helped me select my glasses. I was in and out in less than an hour. Terrific!

Eye doctor is good but that is about it. The rest of the staff provides mis information , over charges, doesn't know how to handle insurance benefits and has no idea how to fit you for glasses. I was able to get a refund after bring told I couldn't and after I provided proof was treated rudely . Fortunately after pushing back I got the refund. I will never go back, getting new glasses shouldn't be such an unpleasant experience.

From the moment I entered in I was greeted with a warm hello and led to the exam room. My technician was very pleasant and very detailed. Everything went great with not one complaint or anything negative to say about my experience. Top notch!!!

I don't know what anyone else has to say, but they're glasses are higher than what they should be, but every single staff member was sweet, patient, thorough and quick, including my doc who at the time was Diamond Abbate. That was the fastest, yet most thorough exam. She def was good at what she does. I got to see what my lenses would look like when on, so I'm very optimistic.

I had been to vision works for my regular check up. I did not have a great experience with the female doctor. She was very blunt and sounded rude. When I did not understand something instead of explaining she rudely responded and made me feel uncomfortable. Anyways writing this as I did not like it.

Bad experience. Everything is extremely slow. It does not matter what time your appointment is -- you will still wait at least 2 hours after it. The staff and the doctor clearly do not want to work at all and do not value their clients' time.
