Costco Optical Department

Purchased ray ban sunglasses which broke within a week. I wore them twice. Trusting costcos return policy i took them back to the store where I was greeted with warmth by JANE. Her passive aggressive tone was just what I needed to bring the holiday cheers. She spent all her time and energy trying to get a confession out of me, just to prove her point that I had broken them, as she said " accidents happen but costco can only accept items back if they can resell them". My argument that rhe product was defective and I am looking for a replacement didn't work. So if you ever buy from here please consider keeping your glasses in a glass museum wherr no elements can touch them, cos God forbid if they get in touch with human hands or suns rays they will crash and burn, costco wouldn't take it back and JANE will do her best to make you feel like this was all your fault.

The optical department was disappointing. I came in to get my glasses adjusted, but the staff was extremely rude and acted like I was a problem. My glasses were uneven, and the metal was chipped in some areas. I had picked these glasses up YESTERDAY. They acted like they couldn't see the spots, but even my young daughter could see the areas. The person helping could not fix the uneven frame, and even made it worse. Another worker had to step in and fix it, but seemed unhappy and even reluctant. They were acting I was wasting their time. I understand that they were busy, but the attitude was terrible. In the end, they agreed to get me a new frame, but they seemed to not trust that the metal was chipped. This made me uncomfortable. They also said I am not using this old frame, I will have the new frame. The problem is I still need to wear it for more than a week! That's why I have to have it adjusted evenly. The overall attitude and atmosphere was unacceptable. The whole process I didn't even raise up my voice, I just pointed out the true. The woman started yelling" don't get mad, just give her a new frame...." You know why I was mad? It is your attitude, the way you said to me.

Had a great experience with Doc Shukla and the optical dept. all in one eye care and glasses. Shout out to Mike in optical who was patient and explained to us in detail all we needed to consider. And we got 4 pair of glasses under $500! Costco is the best retailer in the world. Never selling the stock

The eye doctor is personable, smart and efficient, using up-to-date equipment to take detailed images of the insides of the eyes, and then showing me, the patient, what it looks like. I've used this office for about seven years and the service has always been friendly and accommodating, with flexible times for eye appointments. My prescriptions for progressive lenses and reading glasses have always been right, and the office is next to the sales center for eyeglass frames and lenses. Plus the cost of the appointment is highly reasonable. Highly recommended!!!

The receptionist at this clinic is very rude. She made racial comments while I was visiting. They also made us wait for 2.5 hrs unnecessary. Not the best place to get your eyes tested. Stay away.

The doctor is good but the lady at the front desk who takes appointments is extremely rude and unprofessional. I was just asking about the charge over the eye exam because i've been coming here for over 5 years but don't remember paying some part of the exam. I thought our insurance would cover 100% the exam but guess not. She immediately raised her voice at me with the attitude telling me the doctor doing me a favor for charging less than she should've ??!?? Until the doctor ran out and explained it to me...

It is trash! People work here are rude.

Dr. Shukla is hands-down the best optometrist I've ever visited. She explained every step of the exam so clearly and addressed each of my concerns with patience and care, offering tips for various ways to take care of my issues. I will absolutely return to Dr. Shukla for future eye exams.
