Garden State Eye and Vision

Some of the worst customer service I have ever expeirenced. All the other complaints on here are right, listen to them, and go somewhere else so you don't get the physical and metaphorical headaches. I asked them to order the extras that were on my last pair of glasses. They told me that I had anti glare and blue light protection so thats what I thought I was getting. There are messages to my girlfriend where I expressed that I was excited they were getting me the anti glare again, especially with my astigmatism. Little did I know, they did not order the anti glare. I get the glasses and drive home (6 min away(trust me this will be important later)). Head stareted hurting immediately so within 15 min of receiving the glasses I call back to tell them my concerns. They told me that I didn't order anti glare. So I told them that they are the ones who recommended this, and that I was excited about what they told me to get. Either way, a mistake was made, I just wanted to return the glasses to get the coating applied. Not only would they not admit to their mistake in taking the order, they also couldn't wait the 6 min for me to drive over and drop the glasses off. They are supposed to be open until 6 pm but apparently this day they were leaving after the last paitent who was currently being seen at around 4:35 pm. I told them, "you told me you were open until 6 pm earlier for pickup, but now you cant wait 6 min for me to drop these off". They completely ignored me and told me there would be no one in the office by then. They already have some of the shittiest, inconsistent hours in existence which means I had to wait until a week later to drop them off, wednesdays being the only day they are open past 4 pm.

I just don't understand why they don't give you the receipt for what you paid. I only received the statement of what's been covered by the insurance and every time when I asked for receipt they email me the same statement multiple times Also, It took 3 weeks to get new glasses.. during that 3 weeks I got a text message saying it's ready and you can come pick it up and when I got there it wasn't The doctor is nice but, the whole experience was weird and frustrated it.

Was able to make an appointment to have my eye exam due to floater and blurry vision in one eye. Dr Rana was caring, pleasant and thorough with examination of my eyes. Dr Rana explained the issue with my eye and put me at ease with the explanation of the results. I recommend Dr Rana and felt comfortable with the knowledge and expertise. Regards Steve B

I had something in my eye from work the other day. I woke up with excruciating pain in my eye and it was bright red and could hardly open it. Being an emergency, after dealing with 5 other places that either didn't take my insurence, didn't have staff on hand, or were completely incompetent or rude, I came across Garden State Vision. They were very accommodating to my situation, especially having my 2 year old with me, rushed me in asap with no issues, and dealt with and contacted my insurence before even arriving. The front desk receptionist was a very genuinely pleasant woman to talk to, even in my pain/panic and was knowledgable. As well Dr. Rana and her assistant were very skilled and have the patience of saints to get the metal shaving from my eye quickly with no pain while dealing with me calming down my grumpy toddler. You guys got me through such a painful and stressful day with grace. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Terrible experience! The frame is far bad quality but charged a lot! Don't come to this site, your glass will be broken and no longer be used in very short time! They will find every excuse to refuse to replace a good one even though it's all their quality issue! Treacherous store!!!!!

BEYOND disappointed. I visited with Dr. Rana one time and she was great. Very helpful and nice. However, her staff is terrible. I called the office and asked them to fax my contacts prescription to the optical center and they sent over my glasses prescription TWICE. Christine, the receptionist was ESPECIALLY rude. She laughed on the phone BOTH TIMES when i told her that she sent the wrong prescription, and didn't own up to her mistake. She tried to convince me that she DID send the correct prescription and that i was the one that was wrong....when i was standing in front of the optical center seller with the incorrect prescription in his hand. Dr. Rana is nice but her support staff made me switch optometrists. My experience with the staff was extremely disheartening and i am honestly embarrassed on behalf of Dr. Rana for allowing her office to be front-run by people who will only deter her from getting/keeping patients.

I recently moved to this area and when searching thru my insurance's providers came upon Garden State Eye and Vision LLC and Dr. Rana's practice here. I went in to my first exam and followed all the COVID-19 procedures which included calling when I arrived to check-in. I waited about 10 minutes before Dr. Rana saw me and conducted my yearly exams. She was calm, patient and very knowledgeable. I've worn glasses for a majority of my life and I can say that Dr. Rana is the best optometrist I've dealt with. I highly recommend her and look forward to having her as my eye doctor for the foreseeable future.

Life-saving, Garden State eye & vision, went to Concentra with a debris in my eye was told by them nothing was there. Was released to go back to work I went home made an appointment with Garden State eye & vision still was feeling a lot of pain was booked within half an hour. with their professional service, they remove the debris from my eye.pain/ discomfort, went from a 10 to a 2 automatically. Can't explain the feeling
