By far the worst experience of my life, I spent 3 hours there. He talked about covid I had from 6 years ago, then gave me a list of over the counter medications to "make me feel better"........I wasn't sick , but felt like I was at a covid doctor office, 3 hours of smoke and mirrors, just to tell me I have to go to specialist, my eyes were blurry for another 5 hours after I left ....he intimately put drops in my eyes , make me wait an hour, put more drops in , talking about medicines he wanted me to buy for covid.....I felt like I was on candid camera.....he's like 90 years old ....whatever he did in eye care is done, he needs to retire, he is totally clueless to his surroundings!!!!!

This doctor is great. He really listened and cared for my eye concern. The staff was courteous and respectful. The office isn't brand new but I would take care and quality over a brand new office anyday. I would recommend other patients to come here and get quality care they deserve !!

I used to take my father to Dr. Yaros, until he passed away , and I thought he was a good doctor, and very professional. Then I started going to Dr. Yaros and my personal experience is that he is truly funny and humorous. I seen that he had a good sense of humor and I would still be laughing when I would think about some of the jokes he would tell. He is kind and knowledgeable in his job. When I would ask him questions, he didn't have to think about the answer, he looked at me with confidence and share his accurate diagnoses. He did my cataract surgery twice and now I have perfect vision, I was happy; after wearing glasses for many years. The one big fear I had was my eyes and after he explained everything to me and did my surgery now my fear is no longer. His office staff are friendly and patient, I remember having to cancel appointment several times and they were kind and helpful. The wait time is great, it may look crowded in his office, but the wait time really is quick. He is truly a good family eye dr. You can ask him anything and he will explain in great detail and even draw pictures of how he will perform the procedure and what to expect before and and after. There is no surprises after a procedure. I have recommended all my co-workers and family member to his practice. Today, it is hard to find friendly doctors and I'm glad my experience with Dr. Yaros is a God sent. He helped me when I really needed, he is truly a blessing in disguise. Cassandra Robinson

I have never been to ANY Doctor's office were I felt as welcomed and cared about than here!!! The ladies at the desk, Linda and Barbara are so friendly and so is Andrea who tested my eyes. I went to the office back in May to ask about possibly getting the cateract in my right eye removed because it had made me legally blind for over a year. However, within a couple weeks of my original visit, I started having flashes of light in my right eye. After calling the ladies at Advanced Eyecare and telling them the situation, they immediately got me in for an emergency visit. Dr. Yaros concluded that the retina in my right eye had detached and quickly set me up to see a specialist in Blackwood the very next day. After the specialist verified that I did indeed have a detached retina, Dr Yaros got me in for an emergency operation to remove my cateract 2 days later. It was something that NEEDED to be delt with BEFORE the specialist could reattach my retina just five days later. I cannot express just how afraid I was getting the cateract removed, but when faced with the blindness creeping over my right eye, I became more afraid of losing my vision permanently. In the end, Yaros became part of the team that saved my vision and it was both quick and absolutely painless. I am proud to give them 5

My 94 year old mother has been seeing Doctor Yaris for 17 years for the treatment of glaucoma and various other eye issues.It is my opinion that my mother still has remarkable eye sight because of the care that Dr. Yaros has provided over the years. He is of calm nature very patient,and very good at his profession. His staff is excellent providing very kind service, I high recommend him.

Yaros just isn't a dr I would recommend to anyone I had a chalazion on my eye and all he would do is give me steroid injections for almost 6 months with no progress of removal. He sometimes seemed shady making me sign paperwork literally TURNING HIS BACK towards me with the paperwork without explaining what the forms were then turning around to hand me the paper where I needed to sign my name. He never explained anything just felt like I was always being rushed out. Please save your time and go somewhere else.

Kind & accomodating with older and sometimes very difficult patients. All of his staff are considerate & helpful throughout the process. My family member would have lost all of her vision if it weren't for him.

Dr Yaros gave me the sight I wanted and needed. He is friendly and precise. His staff is very competent, helpful, and approachable. Totally a great experience. "Eye" am happy!
