Emerald Eye Care is truly a lifesaver! On the morning of my wedding day, my father-in-law needed an emergency eye visit and Emerald Eye Care came through in the most amazing way. From the front desk to the doctor, every single staff member was kind, professional, and incredibly accommodating. They got us in and out in just 40 minutes, understanding the urgency of the situation, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled quickly and with care. I can't thank them enough for saving the day and making sure our family was taken care of during such an important moment. Everyone there was top notch caring, fast, and truly exceptional. Highly recommend them for anyone needing top-tier eye care with heart.

I've used Emerald eyes when I was younger. Always an awesome experience. Unfortunately I couldn't keep using them because I moved away. When my local place went corporate. I knew there was only one place I could count on to get the service and quality I needed. That's why I drove from Tom's River to Sea Girt. Better service, same if not lower price and knowledgeable staff. You can't go wrong.

The bald doctor (don't know his name) refused to give me my prescription because i said i wanted to get it somewhere cheaper. when i asked for my prescription again, he quoted "that's really not fair to us," the hell does that mean?? what's not fair is trying to force patients to buy over priced glasses, a medical necessity, from them for way more expensive. i paid for my visit, i am not REQUIRED to buy your glasses. also, why would i want to spend my money on glasses from this office so that they can profit even more? maybe if you are more polite to your patients they will want to buy their prescription from you.

I've been going to Dr Phibbs for years. I've always been treated well by Dr Phibbs and the staff. And they sell great frames as well!

Beware, they will charge a contact lens fitting fee. Be that as it may, you can have worn contacts for decades, but they will charge the fee nonetheless.

I can't say enough about the team at Emerald Eyes!! Dr Kaufmann was great with my teenage son, and did a top notch exam. Thanks to Dr Kaufmann, his vision is now crystal clear. My son also had an appointment with Vicky, who taught him how to put contacts in. He had always been squeamish in the past, but Vicky knew just how to work with him, and help him to achieve success. Wearing his contact lenses to school everyday, his confidence has soared!! We can't thank you all enough!!

My experience at Emerald Eyes has never been less than perfect. Really. I don't often write reviews, but I have got to say, this is the ONLY medical type practice where the entire team is so great. The women at the front desk are personable and knowledgable, and really funny. They look like they have a good time there! Dr. Kaufman is so thorough. He spends so much time with his patients is so rare. He really cares about his practice and interaction with his patients. The techs are personable and fun and it just always seems that they all "want" to be there. They also have the best bathroom! In these days where any medical appointment seems rushed, impersonal, or unpleasant, Emerald Eyes is a totally different experience. I also love that I can shoot a quick email, I get a quick response.

I'm from North Carolina but was visiting family here when I accidentally used the wrong solution for my contacts and burned my eye. It was painful. I called Emerald Eyes at 2:00 pm and spoke with Melissa. She was extremely helpful and compassionate. She squeezed me in at 4:00 that same day. From the moment I walked in the door till meeting with the doctor and leaving I must say it was one of the most professional and friendly practices I've ever been too! If I could I would come here every year my eye exam!
