Visionworks Doctors of Optometry

I came to this location 2/10 with a unique issue concerning my sons eyeglasses. I had called prior and was told its a very busy day so i may have to wait a bit. It was in fact a busy time but I did not have to wait long. Dalia helped me and she was able to resolve my issue not only promptly and diligently but with empathy and compassion. She truly wanted to help and I appreciate her genuine care. Someone like Dalia should be recognized for her exceptional customer service and although not a job requirement, displaying care and concern and truly wanting to help. I cannot thank you enough. This was my first time at this location and I will definitely be returning here for future needs!

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The entire staff was welcoming, kind, and incredibly organized, which made the visit smooth and stress-free. The doctor was thorough, patient, and took the time to clearly explain everything, making sure all of my questions were answered and that I felt comfortable throughout the exam. It's rare to find an office where both the medical care and customer service are equally outstanding. I truly felt well cared for and would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for exceptional eye care.

This is the third time I have used Visionworks facility. I can't brag enough about the special attention and care that I received from the staff and especially from Stephanie. I couldn't decide which frames I wanted. I was all over the place and Stephanie knew exactly the type of frame that fit best with my face and enhances my eyes. I walked in there feeling nervous and with no confidence at. By the time I made my purchase and left Visionworks I truly felt pleased with my purchase and my confidence was sky high. All thanks to Stephanie. She even hugged me and I needed that. I felt special because one employee went to the highest limit to ensure that I was happy and felt pretty with my eyeglasses.

Very annoying customer service. Glasses were promised on a specific date and were not delivered. They sent the frames back because they "dont work on oakleys" even though they sell Oakley in the store. The sales people got extremely defensive and offered no way to properly rectify the situation. Its ridiculous that a company can promise a service, not deliver, and then get mad at you for being unhappy

I've been a customer of Visionworks for nearly 20 years. I used to go to the Neptune location and never any issues. The girls there were always so pleasant and it was just an overall good experience. Since I've been coming to the Shrewsbury location the experience has always been worth one star. You walk in, and no one says hello ....not welcoming at all. I'm finding a new eye doctor. Very poor customer service. This last experience set the tone. Corporate should send in secret shoppers to see how poorly the staff treats their customers. Sad.

I couldn't put into words more. The discussed I have for this business such a disappointment every time you call the automated system answers and you want to speak to someone in the office. It finally sends you over there and the first thing they do there is they pick up the phone and they say please hold They never get back to you. The line ends up disconnecting or you end up getting so frustrated you disconnect after 40 minutes on hold waiting nobody ever picks up the phone there right away. The girls are incompetent and picking up your prescription that should've been done correctly. The first time caused me six trips to that store Last year here I am again this year trying to schedule appointment and I've given up so I canceled my appointment with them and I would recommend never going there not only are they incompetent. The doctors don't understand how to write a prescription correctly so you don't have to travel back in and out six times. Most of the girls behind the desk are rude and do not handle customers correctly. I would never recommend Vision works in Shrewsbury, New Jersey. And I have been going too many of the Vision Work and another cities that I lived in and those ones were never mismanaged like this place

We just came to buy a frame and have to wait like an hour to put the glasses on the frame. No body helps. Two ladies in reception just seated . Another time I came to my son's appointment and he waited two hours "with appointment" and then they said why you don't say anything, you are just seated there!! WTH I won't be back ty

They've made dilation mandatory at every annual vision exam for some reason and this is why I've decided to leave. Unless I have a clear problem with my eyes should that dilation be administered. They did have a few frames within insurance coverage.
