Charlie Beyer and Metro Ophthalmic are a superb company! I started a new practice and Charlie provided all the top of the line medical equipment I needed. Aside from providing the medical equipment, he offered free advice and even spent hours with me developing my new office and putting things in the right place. I can't say enough about how instrumental Charlie has been in the early success of my practice. I've been using Metro Ophthalmic for many years. Early in my 25 year career I used them to fix my older equipment & also bought used equipment from them. They are always fair priced and very responsive when things needed maintenance. In the past several years, as I've grown, I've bought a lot of new equipment, including 2 complete lanes, Topcon AR, and an ORA. However, today was an amazing experience when my slit-lamp wouldn't work this morning. So the President, Charlie Beyer, showed up at my office during lunchtime to personally repair my slit-lamp, which ended up just being a bad bulb. Turned out my spare bulb was also bad, and I was down to 1 lane. That's the kind of outstanding response you don't find often. Thanks so much!!

As a brand new practice, we were lucky enough to get referred to Metro Ophthalmic, Inc. for furnishing our exam lane and pretest area. Understandably, our budget was tight. However, Charlie's undivided attention, and full understanding of our monetary limitations, made us feel like we are in great hands. He went beyond what was expected, and helped us fix something that we didn't even purchase from him. He worked with us to ensure we have a working office in time for the opening. He is very personable and easy going, and his crew that installed everything is amazing. He was kind enough to spend time with our novice technician to teach him how to use the fundus camera and a visual field. We cannot imagine working with anybody else. We are lucky enough to have met him, and appreciate the fact that he is local (he may feel otherwise..lol). His expertise and willingness to help whenever possible make him a great asset, and his number is one of the most important contacts in our rolodex.

We purchased two ophthalmic exam chairs, two lanes, two Omni systems, refractor, and lensometer from Metro 10 years ago, after pricing at another ophthalmic sales place. We found Metro to be MUCH more easy to work with. They delivered on time and the equipment has never broken down. When we needed supplies, they were quickly sent to us. Now, 10 years later, the doctor is retiring and a doctor who purchased some of the above equipment from us, filled in her office with a few more items she purchased from Metro! The crew is wonderful and attentive to all the customers needs. We recommend them.
