City of Vision Eye Care

I honestly can't say enough good things about Dr. Ho and her whole office. She is such an incredible eye doctor -- professional, young, hip, and clearly current on all the latest technology. You can really feel how much care and thought goes into everything they do. They're almost finished with their full remodelling project and it is stunning!! City of Vision is such beautiful open floor plan, with tons of light and modern touches everywhere! Plus, I appreciate all of the gorgeous plants throughout the office. It feels more like a boutique or spa than a doctor's office. Their frame selection is hands-down the best on this side of town! They bring in so many great options, and it's actually fun to shop. Oh, and they're always super generous with contact lens samples to help you decide what the best option is for your lifestyle, which I really appreciate. Every visit feels easy, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. Highly, highly recommend City of Vision and Dr. Ho! Rio Rancho is lucky to have her and her team right here in the ACTUAL City of Vision!

It was a true pleasure to be seen at City of Vision. The office was beautiful, immaculate, the staff was so pleasant. Dr Ho was so nice. She took time to explain her findings and explained my options. I am so glad I made the decision to seek another provider.. thank you to City of Vision! Great place. I highly recommend!

All staff were very efficient and helpful. Luciano (sp?) got my initial assessment done and was very good at helping me through the process. Dr. Roverse was thorough and explained my cataracts and what to expect. Carolyn helped me select some glasses that look good and are in my price range.

City of Vision is superb! Ample parking, clean office areas, friendly staff, the latest equipment, a large selection of eyeglasses from which to choose, and best of all, no excessive wait times; they got to me right on time! The entire staff are very professional and it is obvious to me that City of Vision hires only the best people which allows them to be the best place for eye care. Highly recommend to all!

Everyone at City of Vision is wonderful. This practice is far from us and very much worth the drive. They are equally excellent with my toddler son, my husband, and myself. The technicians, doctors, and customer service staff created a uniformly wonderful experience from making the appointment to leaving. We also found reasonably priced frames there. We will keep coming back :)

It's been a pleasure working with City of Vision! The doctors and staff are professional, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to their patients. From a business standpoint, they're efficient, communicative, and thoughtful in how they run their practice. Offices like this set the standard--highly recommend!

My appointment went very smoothly and was quick from start to finish, which I appreciated. My only concern is the noise level in the office. Some conversations and laughter felt a little excessive, obnoxious, and occasionally inappropriate. I noticed this on multiple visits with different family members when it wasn't that bad previous years. That said, the office is lovely, the experience was still great, and the remodel is coming along nicely!

I would give a 0 if I could. We brought our son in for a routine eye exam. They said that they accept tricare and that there was no co-pay. They did not say anything about the a charge of $40 for the Auto map until we were checking out. My son was scheduled way out in Jan. I called to see if they had an earlier opening. They said they did have an earlier opening that opened up with the same provider Dr Harrison. We brought our son in for the appointment and it end up being a different provider he was scheduled with, which was Dr. Ho. She said that she was uncertain about his refraction/prescription that she had gotten and said that she does not specialize in this type of proscription that she was getting. She wanted him to come back and see Dr Harrison for another refraction only and that is would be $40 only for the refraction to be redone by Dr Harrison. I thought that was unfair to charge us again and I asked it they knew if Tricare would pay for a recheck refraction. They said that they would check and call me back, but they never did. I also called and left a message for the manager and explained everything and that it was unfair to charge for another refraction when Dr Ho wasn't sure of her prescription and told us that we should not buy any glasses until he gets checked out again with Dr Harrison. So we brought him back again to see Dr Harrison. When they took him back they did another automap again without asking use. I told them that we were here only for the refraction and he already just had the Automap done in his first appointment. They said the doctor wanted more pictures because were not done correctly. The techs did not get good pictures at the first appointment but we were going to have to pay for the refraction. When we went to check out, the receptionist said that it was $40 that we owed for the second visit. I told her what happen at the first appointment and that they were also suppose to check and see if Tricare would pay for another refraction recheck or they may wave the $40 charge, which they never called me back on that. The receptionist said that she would message the manager and let them know that I left message for her and have not heard back. The manager finally called today and it was like she never listened to my message or the messages left though the receptionist and she said we owe a balance of $98. How? This should have done right to start with on the first appointment, which is covered by Tricare. Also the second refraction was only $40. We feel that we were lied to, miss informed and mistreated.
