Edward Marcus, MD: SightMD NY -- Amityville, New York

I felt confident that Dr Marcus had a correct diagnosis. This was my third appointment with SightMD with the same complaint that was overlooked by the two other doctors that I had seen. Natalie and Gemma were excellent. They both listened to me and made me feel comfortable.

Very easy appointment happy to say. Just a little hand swelling for the dye, rec'd a small icepack that did the trick. Appointment for a Diabetic Retina scan was a follow up from June. Will continue to repeat scan as needed since my eyesight is a major concern for me with this illness.

This is a dual review of Sight MD one I posted this past June and today's December 16 visit both of which were to review the condition of floaters removed in April (completely gone) and the retinas in each of my eyes as is routine considering my age(74). Always pleased with Dr Marcus's pleasant demeanor at each visit. I now dont have to return for a year as opposed to every 4-6 months as I had post procedure. Retina specialist vistors can take longer but patients aren advised ahead of time how much time to allot. The receptionists are pleasant as are all the othe assistants at this practice in Brentwood where I go most of the time. Above average care and concern which is important when dealing with treatments of the eye and the patients vision needs This was a 2 month post op followup on a Floaterectomy performed this past April. Pleased that floater issue in my left eye was resolved. There is a floater in my right eye but I was pleased to hear that it is not significant at this time and will be assessed in December. I was satisfied with Dr Marcus's assessment and observations. I've used this practice for years and have always been satisfied with all doctors under whose care I have been.

Thank you Dr Marcus for seeing in at so last minute and in my panic. I'm not one who does that and pain is not an issue with me but it's been a few tough weeks and this was the last straw for me. So you seeing me and relieving one more stress from my shoulders was much appreciated.

Dr. Marcus was knowledgeable and supportive. Highly recommended. The whole process flowed well and staff was professional. Receptionist smiled brightly when I checked out - that is always a plus!
