I was late bc of a snow storm and they worked me in, I had time to look for the glasses I wanted. The associate was funny, enjoyed her personality. Doctor was very polite, informative, wrote my prescription and referral and I went and go my glasses I prepicked out prior to being squeezed in. The whole appt was very pleasant and accommodating considering I haven't had a eye exam since the covid pandemic. I went there and never got my glasses after I saw the optometrist. But 100% better experience this time.

I tried calling several times and unfortunately I was not able to speak to a I've person after 4 different tries at different times. One time I waited on the line for 29 minutes with no answer. I finally hung up with no resolution to my issue! I'm going to shop around for another optometrist who knows how valuable customer service is.

Everyone at the Grant Ave, Auburn location were extremely helpful and courteous. The eye exam was very thorough. Dr. Lipani was so nice and took time to answer all of my questions. The Auburn location has a large variety of frames to choose from. I didn't feel rushed and I was able to take my time and find the perfect frame for me. The technician was super helpful in explaining how progressive lenses work and in explaining what my options were in accordance to my insurance coverage. He saved a few frames that I liked so that I could return with my daughter the next day to help me decide. Overall, I had a great experience at Empire Visionworks #1014. I tried to call the store 4 times and only got the AI bot. Tried to order online but needed my prescription. Again I called the store, again had to talk to the AI bot that was absolutely useless. I was better off just driving to the store than jumping through hoops and being on hold for 20 minutes just to have to do an online chat with you guessed it, an AI bot. Very unimpressed and dissatisfied with the customer service.

Took my son in late October to replace broken glasses. They said 3 weeks. They came in 3 days later but never notified me. Not even a reminder before sending them back. It's been over a month. They are now literally in pieces. Tell me why I get the notification that they're ready 10 minutes before closing on Saturday when they're not open until Monday? And why is it every time we use them?

The office staff and Dr's are great. What sucks is the AI system that answers the phone. The system will actually hang up on you if you don't ask one of its easy to answer questions. Asked to speak to someone and it hung up on me again.
