The facility is house-like and cozy but spacious. The wait was about an hour that day but I was glad they were able to accommodate a same-day visit. Dr. Marcantonio was great and caring. I had a foreign object in my eye and he carefully removed it without any damage to my eye. He did so with skill and precision.

I would Like to compliment the staff at Sight Md in Bayshore regarding my visit today. Starting with the young man who checked me in being very friendly and courteous, to the doctors assistant who was just welcoming and knowledgeable . Then to Dr Shah who displayed an impeccable wealth of knowledge and dedication to her patients. I could not imagine having another doctor as she is the best of the best.. Lastly , Carmen whom gave me a wealth of information with all my cataract treatment options.

I had a wonderful experience at SightMD this morning. From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless--there was plenty of parking, the office was extremely easy to find, and there was absolutely no waiting. The entire visit was quick, efficient, and stress-free. Albert Marcantonio, OD was an absolute delight--so kind, professional, and reassuring. He took great care of me and made the whole experience genuinely pleasant. I truly can't say enough nice things about this practice and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Trying to contact and speak to a person is impossible. One of the worse ever! My husband had an appointment and I was getting concerned why he hadn't returned home after 2 hours. I called the number, had to go through the prompts to speak to someone from who knows where. He called the office, no answer and it said office closed!!! Well, it turned out that my husband didn't leave the office till almost 6:30 which means someone was there but chose not to pick up the phone! My husband is 83 and does not have a cell phone. My daughter rode all the way there to see if all was okay. What a shame that I can't reach the office, god forbid an emergency. Very poor system and I'm tempted to look for a private doctor where you can call the direct office. Sight MD got too big and can't handle it. They even had our appointment mixed up with another doctor. No one seemed concerned. Straighten up your act! Very poor communication but you sure know how to ask the patient as soon as he walks in about the $25 co payment he owes which we didn't even get a statement for. We have been patients for many years but the changes that have been made are not for the better.

Waiting time was too long before you get into the diagnostic and examination rooms. The Scheduling of their appointments needs to be set up more expeditiously. Staff was professional and competent A policy of introducing themselves would go a long way. All and all I will continue to use Sight MD Providers, in particular Dr Scibilia who is excellent!

It was my first time at SightMD and at the Bay Shore location. The doctor I saw was fine. Got the job done. However, the office is in need of a refresh - the chairs are dirty and are peeling, it was extremely hot, and the wait was long.

I'm really disappointed with my experience. I had an appointment scheduled for today and received a call only three hours beforehand telling me the doctor decided not to work. This felt very unprofessional, especially because I'm in pain and was counting on this visit. I do want to acknowledge that who called me, was very kind and helpful. He tried his best to accommodate me at other locations, but the last-minute cancellation put me in a difficult position. Overall, I expected better communication and reliability.

The staff is professional and courteous. I wish there was a way you could lessen the wait. It's 30 minutes of testing, and then about a two hour wait till you are seen by the doctor. I'm not sure what the solution is but it's worth a look. Thank you for listening.
