Empire Visionworks

Second year in a row using their service with same experience. I used their online tool to monitor my order status and it does NOT show when your order is ready. My exam and order was 12/26. Estimated delivery date 1/9 passed and online tool changed to "pending". Automated phone system returned message of "pending, expect phone message in 3-5 days". Do not bother trying to contact the location by phone, if you can get a real person they are at a call center. Finally spoke with a live person who said the order was ready but could not say when it had arrived or why I had not been contacted or their online tool did not reflect the correct status. I will not be using them again. Fool me once...

10/10 WILL RETURN, I DON'T REVIEW normally BUT: Treated us like we mattered! We are a set income family: told by other places that we could only have certain things, treated poorly, & all because I'm disabled & cant afford the best of everything. It's demoralizing... NOT here at this VISIONWORKS! We were greeted with a smile, by name! Even though we were late, which wasn't our fault, our appointments were still there for us! Bethany & (I forget his name, I'm SO sorry, he says he lives there, he works a lot & obviously loves it, lol) were friendly, courteous and caring. They showed us RESPECT & COURTESY, made us feel WELCOME & important (WHAT?! )... We're not used to that, & have been treated poorly other places, all because of my disabilities& what we could/COULDN'T pay them... VISIONWORKS in the Wegmans Plaza in Brockport, NY now have an ENTIRE FAMILY of glasses wearers, who are related to even more, as LOYAL CUSTOMERS until...well, FOREVER! We were treated well, given the same courtesy as EVERYONE else, made to feel like we mattered, put at ease when we came in late (not typical, through no fault of our own our transportation quit on us, & we called to let them know, so) I got there worried we wouldn't have appointments, it's happened to us at those OTHER places But it was a slower day there, we were greeted kindly, warmly & told to come on in! As a Mom, who has no car & someone who relies on medical transportation; I can tell you HORROR stories... BUT NOT HERE @ THIS VISIONWORKS! BETHANY: kind, professional, caring, understanding & patient! She deserves a raise, she's an ANGEL! The other front desk gentleman, I'm sorry, I don't remember his name: He was also sweet kind caring & FUNNY. He made SURE, (Bethany too), that my kids not ONLY found glasses our insurance covered, but that they LOVED. There's nothing more frustrating than needing glasses, being self conscious about it & ON TOP OF IT, having to wear glasses you hate, because you cant afford anything else.THOSE 2 MADE SURE MY BABIES WERE HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY GOT! Bless them both, & the IN HOUSE DOCTOR,( I'm sorry I'm bad with names...) They all were amazing & the store was SO clean/beautiful! The sheer amount of CHOICES we as Medicaid Blue Choice Option members has, literally made my jaw drop. I started to cry, because usually we get a small rack with everybody's choices on it. When we DO find one's we like they are POORLY MADE or cheap versions... My OLD glasses, from another place, are plastic & I have bifocals... I liked my frames, but they weren't fitted right around the lenses... 5 years later, after mentioning this WHEN I GOT THEM, (they did 0) there's all sorts if stuck in there, between the lenses &frames... I haven't gone back to THAT place... VISIONWORKS on the other hand: gave us a choice of ANY frame in the bottom 2 ROWS from around the ENTIRE STORE (minus a tiny section). I couldn't believe the options we had!... My 2 kids (oldest 23) were picking out glasses & had ALREADY found thier choices by the time my turn with the optician was up! We had back to back appointments, 15mins apart, @4:30pm 12/9/25. When I heard the times I figured "great, were gonna get rushed, & treated crappy"... TOTAL OPPOSITE HAPPENED & EMPIRE VISIONWORKS IN BROCKPORT (6660 4th Section Rd., Suite 3, Brockport, NY 14420, The Wegmans Plaza) NOW HAS 3 LOYAL CUSTOMERS! I CANT say enough about the store, the staff, or the experience... Thank you for knowingly and carefully taking us into your care as patients. I'm one happy mama bear, who's cubs are ecstatic & at this time of year, with the Holidays so close... It takes a special kind of place, with AMAZING staff, I DON'T GUSH! I'M extremely grateful to you all... Thank you, Happy Holidays, if you celebrate & I'll be rating this store on Google maps 5 stars & telling eveybody who asks for an eye doc... GO HERE!!! Everyone was amazing here! I was so impressed and so relieved as I have had so many not so good experiences at the last few eye drs I've been to. The Dr was so informative and kind. 1000000% recommend coming here! This will definitely be my place to go from now on!

I've been waiting for over two months and still have not received my glasses. I told them I would b moving about 3 wks after I ordered them. They assured me I would have them before and if not, they would mail them to my new address which they have. They never came in. I've been calling them since the beginning of September and it is now November. I went on their website and I also contacted customer service. Their phone is NEVER answered. I have not spoken to a human in two months of trying to reach them. I will be taking them to small claims court as these glasses have been paid for and I will charge them with theft. I have also contacted the BBB in Buffalo New York. They have MANY negative reviews. They have my glasses AND my money. Do NOT deal with these people. They need to be shut down.

Empire Visionworks in Brockport treated me very well. The person behind the desk was friendly, the assistant was great, and the doctor was helpful. Overall, it was a great experience.

Staff was friendly and patient My glasses came in sooner than expected and fit and look great. It's great to see again. Will get back up pair once insurance allows and i will get them at Visionworks.

for ten months they say they have no lens clothe for my glasses even though they say i need to use one. so i got my new glasses , kendra scott, (that i love!!!)figured they would come with a cloth and they didnt. so i returned them under the 100 day policy and got Ray Ban. They came with a cloth so I keep them.. so story is if you wont give me a 50cent cloth ill keep returning expensive glasses until i get one. YOU loose every time I return glasses give me a cloth next time of i will do it again

I always enjoy coming here. This store matches what I need and I'm glad they were able to get me in with their 100 day guarantee. I definitely recommend them for any vision needs you have. I know they take many insurances hopefully they take yours!
