Amazing LASIK Experience with Dr. Weisenthal
My LASIK experience with Dr. Weisenthal was truly amazing from start to finish. Casey began the process and was incredibly knowledgeable, thoroughly covering every question before I even had the chance to ask.
Dr. Weisenthal was so calm and reassuring during the procedure that it instantly put me at ease--even knowing they were lasering my eyes! He walked me through every step and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. His bedside manner is outstanding.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this team to anyone considering LASIK.

I would highly recommend Dr. Weinstein and Casey Gates, the Refractive Coordinator. They both exceeded my expectations. I could not have asked for a smoother experience. This was a first time surgical procedure for me, therefore I was extremely nervous. Dr. Weinstein and Casey were quick to answer any questions I had and made me feel much more confident in choosing the PRK procedure which was successful. I'm beyond grateful for them both and all of the staff at CNY Eye care.

I don't know if the office overbooks appointments or if the doctor is just slow, but they're always running 45 minutes to an hour behind. Their AC is also either broken or used sparingly, because the office has been incredibly warm and humid both times I've visited. The doctor is fine, but the experience is so unpleasant that I won't be back again.

I have been going to Dr. Sveen at CNY Eye Care for many years. He performed my cataract surgery 3 years ago. I was extremely nervous but he put me completely at ease. He explained everything that was going to happen and was patient as I asked several questions. His staff is very professional and friendly. I would not go anywhere else.

I got contact lenses fitted as well as a regular eye exam - nothing wrong with that, doctor seemed nice. At my 2 week fitting appointment - which had been explained to me as included in the pricing of the original exam - the doctor took 20 seconds to clear a tear duct with his fingers. This resulted in an $85 (after insurance) charge that I was unaware of until I got the bill. I called, confused what the charge was from, and was told it would be removed. It was not removed. Calling again I was informed the charge could absolutely not be removed and was the standard cost for the procedure and that any doctor would have done the same. That could very well be true - but I think anyone could understand being frustrated after going to a 5 minute appointment they thought was already paid for and getting billed a surprise $85 without having been informed that there would be additional fees.

Absolutely horrible customer service and inaccurate eye prescription. Go elsewhere. My husband and I went in to update his glasses prescription. They gave him a prescription far too high, causing us to have to see another eye doctor to have it corrected. He had to have his glasses made three times to get it right. Then, we received a bill for a procedure we didn't know was not part of a standard eye exam and were never informed was not standard. When told of the issues, the customer service person essentially said, you should have called us, which is exactly what we had done to no avail.

Dr. Wang was very good at putting me at ease before and after my cataract surgery. She answered all my questions and gave me back my site. I am very grateful for her. Also the staff is very pleasant and understanding.
