Empire Visionworks Tops Plaza

I had a great experience with Visionworks. I truly appreciate that they are open on Saturdays because I work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM until 10:30 PM. Having weekend availability makes it so much easier for working people like me to take care of important appointments. The staff was friendly, professional, and made my visit smooth and stress-free. I will definitely continue coming back!

I went here to get an eye exam done using my private insurance. I was told I could get the exam.for.contaxt lenses as it was including, I was surprised by this because its not what my benifets said, but I listened to her and got the eye exam and contact lenses exam done. I went to pay and it was an additional $60 on top of the $10 i planned to pay. I refused to pay the $60 as I only wanted an eye exam done. They did fix this for me. I recieved my eye exam in an envelope and we left the store. As my wife was driving me home I looked at the script and it said "plano" for my left eye. I thought that was weird and exactly what the heck does that mean. I do research and it means that my left eye needs no correction. Im in my 40s always wore glasses and unless some magic happened in the last 41 years, my left eye has always been my worst eye. I called and asked about this as I believe it was a mistake and the receptionist said that she would have the Doctor call me, its been about a week and have heard nothing. Now im stuck with a prescription that I cant use.

My husband and I came here to buy some frames. We found everyone was very friendly and helpful. The frames are beautiful, high quality and very reasonably priced for a lot of designer name brands. We will definitely be back.

Management and AI systems are a mess The lack of coordination at this office is unacceptable. My appointment was fully confirmed by their AI booking system, yet when I arrived, I was turned away because of insurance issues that should have been flagged well in advance. Despite the staff canceling it in person, I received a "missed appointment" text the following day by their AI tool. The management team seems unable to provide actual solutions or fix their broken scheduling tech. Furthermore, the staff's attitude was dismissive and cold there is a palpable lack of respect for those of us on state insurance. As a returning patient, I am frustrated by the decline in service and the total lack of accountability. Please respect elders and show some empathy to the patients ( Missing staff Name tag or credentials after requesting to locate the issue)

Staff is always friendly and don't push you to buy something if you change your mind. The Dr knows what he is doing and makes sure you get what you need. My family and I all go here and it's never a bad experience

DON'T GO HERE! Absolutely AWFUL! I will never step foot in this office again! I will start at the front, the receptionist is dismissive and rude! I brought my daughter for contacts and the whole experience was horrendous. We scheduled her first appt and when we got there, after waiting for over half an hour we were told the optometrist left and there would be no more appts today! So we rescheduled, queue ANOTHER HOUR at this office, you walk in and you aren't greeted in the slightest, you wait and wait and wait, my daughter missed half a day of school for an appt I was forced to reschedule! We were sent home with another appt to "practice touching her eye" we waited around for that appt for over an hour and she missed part of another school day! She was finally fitted with contacts at the THIRD APPT, we decided on contacts and were told we had $130 to spend on them through insurance, agreed on what to order and had to make ANOTHER appointment for god knows what and pick up. This past and final appt we were there for ANOTHER HOUR. We were seen and then told they didn't order her contacts! Then I was lied to saying she actually didn't have $130 and we spent it on glasses in July EVEN THOUGH I spent out of pocket on glasses in July. So we spent over 4 hours at this office to receive NOTHING! DON'T GO HERE!!!

I had an excellent experience here at Empire VisionWorks!! Very friendly staff and all my needs were thoroughly met. Would definitely recommend people to try this location. Very happy customer here. Thanks again Empire VisionWorks.

Wow,My entire family had our first apt today and I was so surprised by the service we received. EVERYONE at this location smiled and were very welcoming. They are very helpful when helping u decide on frames. The representative actually helped me find smamy great frames. I end up picking a pair that I never thought I would love, im so excited for them to arrive! The Dr was awesome and truly loves what he does. You can tell by how patient and knowledgeable he is. He explains everything and that made me feel great because usually eyeglass franchies places are not as imdepth and explain all things when giving u a exam. My children loved this place waaaay better than the private place we went to our first year here. The prices are great and they have soooo many options.... will be our go to for now on..
