Legarreta Eye Care

Dr John O`Connor, has a terrific personality, if it were not for him id never know my eye pressure was high. He maintained it to normal levels. Im hoping BCBS keep The Legarreta Eye Care in Network. Thankyou to Connor the front desk gentleman who is very good at his job.

I absolutely Love this place. The only negative thing I will say one of the assistants she had shirt hair, short and heavy was very mean, nasty and rude. She got very humble when I returned the same attitude back to her! The entire front desk is amazing. All the Doctors are knowledgeable and friendly especially my favorite the female Indian Doctor. If you want my recommendations, yes, go try it and ignore the reviews. Everyone is different. To each its own......

I went for an eye exam recently, I was there 13 years ago, they kept sending cards in the mail over the years on how my eye health was important to them, those glasses I could see everything clear and that was a long time ago. Worst mistake I made going back there! I had the exam, then after they asked if I wanted computer glasses, but never explained I could only use them on a computer, as I left she even said not to wear them driving. I can't even see my wall mounted TV 3 feet away, so all I can use them with is close 2 feet max clear vision. But they bill insurance over 500 dollars for glasses you cant see out of clearly unless it is 2 feet away, well how is that a full optimal pair of glasses? They probably costed 25 dollars to make. I will be writing the insurance company. I am 55 you cant tell me you cant make a pair of glasses where I can see everything clearly all the time. These are merely just reading glasses and I was never given any printout of my vision results, no report at all, very poor customer service! They should be ashamed.

The male receptionist is really rude. I mean really aggressive rude. Reading other people comments I know I wasn't alone he hasn't spoken like this with. The dr and the nurses are good however their glasses are of really bad quality. They keep breaking or loosening up after a few days.

Had an appointment for two of us last week. Had to reschedule it, which I did for today. We came in and the lady said our appointment was cancelled and scheduled for a recall. When I asked what that meant, she stated someone was supposed to call for a new date. She proceeds to be very rude to me as I tried to explain this was the new date. She wasn't even listening to me. So we walked out. Will never go back there. They have ripped us off enough and messed up our appointments for the last time.

A great experience was taken right away into the office. Appointments were easy to make. The office staff was friendly. Dr. Legarreta listened to what I had to say and was very accommodating.

Worst eye center I've ever stepped foot into, went there for a check up to make sure an eye infection cleared up. My appointment was at 3 and I sat there for an hour an half, got called back and sat there. Finally walked out I will NEVER STEP FOOT INTO THAT FACILITY AGAIN. By no reason should I sit there for that long to make sure my eye infection is resolved!!!

Tiny place, like a house. If you want a family feel it's the place to go. They are very professional. Very well priced. Good selection if you're paying out of pocket or have a particular insurance. Unfortunately, my insurance doesn't cover most of the nice ones but I won't complain. I ordered reading glasses and far sighted glasses. I am waiting several weeks because I ordered reading glasses also. I never knew my insurance covered both until they told me! So glad. That really helps me out.
