Luxeye Optical at Little Neck - eye exams, glasses and contact lenses

I recently traveled overseas and damaged my glasses, and the replacement pair I purchased abroad had an inaccurate prescription. As soon as I returned, the doctor at Luxeye quickly provided a new, accurate prescription and helped me replace my lenses with high-quality progressive lenses that made an immediate difference. What truly stood out was how much they cared--they even followed up with me over the next few days to ensure the new lenses were comfortable and that I was fully satisfied. Checked out Luxeye in Little Neck after a friend recommended it, and it's pretty solid! If you're hunting for NYC glasses with top-notch clarity, their Zeiss lenses are amazing. I'll do my best to not make this long. But it's important you read the stuff I experienced. I have a store across the street from Luxeye for 37yrs. I'm the son and owner. Wear glasses. Tried them years back. Maybe 4ish. First time I went the owner was there, she is a sweet and bright and quite funny women who literally went against my gut and promised me to get a frame I never normally got. I'm a salesman. I listened. In 2 days like she said they were my favorite ever. Have bought maybe 10ish pair over a few years. HERE IS THE REVIEW: today in little neck the rain was so bad like I've not seen it intense in that time period. My father uses a walker. Helping him to car. Lifting his legs for him helping while the rain is just insane. Water Well over my ankles. Bent over my GLASSES FELL OFF MY FACE into the stream and took off like a horse. Gone. Went inside and called them. The owner answered. I can provide time stamps. 41 min after my call she had my glasses ready, and, they are actually same ones that I lost. I would have been super happy if they were pink. Anythijg at all's Anything to get home. While it was a few hundred dollar mistake, if you can, only if you can, shop local guys. No Warby Parker or Amazon or anything. This women, who soaking wet is 65-70 lbs lighter me easily during the peak Of the rain said she would run them across street to me. Wheee The heck would we get service like this anywhere? I've dealt With her and another gentleman who both made me get glasses they said I will be happy I did at the time I didn't want them and they are - well were my two favorite pair ever. I'm so thankful we have some service left in this country. Their prices are not like expensive. Not at all. Also not free. Depends what you got. Mine were $300. They are perfect for me. And I hope one person reads this and thinks I should try local over corporate and if glasses is the need trust me. Luxeye worst case treat you like you want to be treated. Human beings. I'll pay for you pair if somehow you are unhappy which you won't be. Just look across northern and look for the store directly across theirs. They know who i am. But you won't have to bc they are people who offer to run in torrential rain for customer so you will never have an issue. Sorry for length but I don't know if Luxeye is aware that today they made me believe in the service industry again. Worth every penny and my business they have for as long they will have me. Thank you guys!! Ps- 41min after I called. Brand new everything. It takes me 41 min in grocery store to get from cereal to vegetables. They have other stores. No clue about them but same owner so same result. Consider them.

I can't recommend Luxeye Optical at Little Neck enough!! My experience here is nothing short of excellence. The owner is incredible helpful and accommodating, she took the time to understand what each one of my family members' need, for their perfect pair of glasses. The selection is amazing, with a wide variety of both glasses and sunglasses. Whether you're looking for something classic or trendy, there's definitely something for everyone! It's clear she genuinely cares about her customers and goes the extra mile to make the whole process smooth and enjoyable. I'll definitely be coming back!

Everyone is professional and friendly EXCEPT the doctor. During the eye exam, I asked questions to clarify because she was explaining things as if I'm in her profession, then she antagonized me. After the exam, I ended up asking the staff the same very question, and he explained it very well for me and said it's their job to explain.

5 star review for the doctor who did my eye exam. It's 75$ and another 75$ for contact lens fitting. I ended giving this place a 3 star because my glasses, not even 7 months have turned green at the eyepieces and I need to get another pair. I checked my receipt and my frame was +300$. The handiwork on the lens was great (although I paid for it to be as thin as possible at $350- some optical stores will charge you the same amount and still give you the thickest lens possible). The experience was good and I felt the guy helping me understood what styles I was looking for. But for having paid more than 500+ (this is after insurance deductions), I expected the glasses to last for more than only a few months. I've worn glasses for more than 25 years now and have bought glasses I did not like, but this pair was the first one to lose quality so quickly at the price point.

This business is new in our neighborhood, it looks good from the inside and outside and also it's pretty clean, the merchandise it's also good looking, can't give my opinion about the quality, my husband walked in last week to get general information and he said the guy working into the store was very rude to him.
