Dr. MacLaughlin leaves a lot to be desired! Made me wait for 40 minutes in an examination room while my family member saw him arranging and deciding where was the best placement for his Ray Ban cardboard cut out display in the eye glass frame area. Never got my prescription called in correctly, very bad energy with Kathy the office manager that sits behind the desk....I was only given my prescription when asked and it was NEVER SIGNED by the Doctor.....then when I was ready to use it I contacted the office and they emailed it signed finally but said it was expired. Heather said that it expires by law after a year.....well ETHICALLY it is an invalid script to be used anywhere when it was never signed by the Doctor in the first place. The Doctor has an EGO living out a fantasy that East Aurora is The Upper East Side of NYC; is his intent to only give you a script when asked UNSIGNED so you cannot use it outside of his practice?!?! It was re sent to me after I communicated how displeased I was and when it was emailed to me the header with the practice name was cut off! (Obviously this was re-sent with resentment instead of doing the right thing!) The practice and Doctor needs to get their nose out of the air as they are too consumed with the fact that they have a dog running around the office on a Wednesday and thinking that their East Aurora location is an upscale and high end practice...it's NOT! Deliver top notch service and exquisite and meticulous care and that's what people remember....no one cares that you are located in an old white building with siding on 'Main Street' in a town that you wish was in a real upper echelon city. I gave you too many opportunities to get it right and you failed! You are only as good as your most recent One Star failed and weakest former patient! This is my INSIGHT for you! See picture below!

Easy to locate, convient parking, facility bright, modern and clean. State of the art equipment and comfortable throughout the eye exam. Visit handled through on time appointment and receptionist was very customer oriented. Pre staging was completed with customer comfort. Exam was professional and highly customer oriented with concerns especially addressed. Post the exam eye ware screen was friendly and all customer options clearly explained.

Great place to receive eye care ! Our yearly visits always go smoothly and when my baby scratched my eyeball they were able to quickly see me and assess the situation. They are also very kind and compassionate with children . My husband and I bring our kids with us to our appointments and the staff gave them toys, played with them, and let them listen to kids music. 10/10

Our daughter has special needs and Dr. Chrissy went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. She was so patient and was able to give us the information we needed to help our daughter. I highly recommend Dr. Chrissy to parents with special needs children.

Great staff. Very friendly and professional. No pressure to get additional scans or buy glasses while you are there. They do have a good selection; my daughter ended up getting a pair on her recent visit. I opted for just the exam at the time. Very pleased.

This place is nothing short of fabulous! We've been going here as a family since they were Council, and the transition to Insight was smooth. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor is friendly, accommodating, and good-natured. They really care about their patients and I always enjoy visiting. Coming in to get my glasses tightened any time, free of charge, is a major perk too! Thank you Insight!

I have been a customer of Dr Maclaughlin for over 10 years and for good reason . He and his staff are the best in the field.They are professional and friendly , have offices in the north and southtowns , and you can get an appointment whenever you need one . if you are looking for a good quality doctor this is who you want to call. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED .

Insight Eye Care - East Aurora provides an excellent in-depth eye exam for the diabetic patient and sends a report to your primary physician as well as sending necessary information to the DMV for license renewal. Dr. MacLaughlin thoroughly reviews any findings or concerns with you after the exam is completed. I have been a patient for many years and am completely satisfied.
