I had cataract surgery on my left eye this morning and I can't emphasize how much I was pleased with the way I was treated from check in to check out. The nurses who administered to me were outstanding both in their personal and professional treatment I received. Dr Schear performed the procedure flawlessly so that I am actually looking forward to having my right eye done in 3 weeks. I highly recommend HVES!

I am so happy I called Hudson Valley Eye-I had a very concerning change in my vision. I called them and, despite being quite busy, they fit in an appointment for me. Everyone was very nice, and Dr. Ma is wonderful. Again, they were really busy/booked-but he took the time to really try to figure out what is going on with my eye. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my family!

Both my husband and mom had cataract surgery by Dr. Nichols. Everyone in the office is courteous and attentive. The entire process was well explained and we were comfortable moving forward with the procedures. There were no surprises. Dr. Nichols took the time to answer all of our questions never making us feel rushed. Post surgery care was fantastic. My husband had pressure building up in one of his eyes. They got him in quickly and often to ensure the treatment was working effectively. Thankfully, it did! He is cataract free with 20/20 vision.
My mom also had a wonderful experience. They were very attentive and patient with her. Dr. Nichols and his staff listened and acted on my concerns. My mom felt comfortable and had a great procedure.

My husband needed to be seen, since he was having double vision. He already had an appointment for late next month, so when I called in was surprised they could get him in the next afternoon. We had a late afternoon appointment on Friday, we arrived, were checked in waited about 10min. The entire staff we encountered were polite and helpful. I didn't give 5 stars because I think a patient shouldn't be made to wait months to be seen.

The office staff was cheerful , polite & helpful. I will say it is a noisy, very busy office. I'm amazed that office personnel can work with all the chatter. If you have sensory issues go earlier. I was there mid day.
