I had an eye injury and the staff worked hard to arrange their schedule to help me. Dr O'Connor was wonderful and so helpful. Thank you for getting me out of pain and discomfort.

I had the most thorough eye exam I've ever had from an Optometrist. The office was lovely and clean. They have the most up to date machines and even put drops in your eyes! I was troubled with double vision. Dr. Lydia O'Connor recommended "prisms" in my glasses. I had never heard of prisms! I was skeptical. Then I got my glasses. My double vision was gone! Plus my lens script was perfect. I was so impressed that I recommended the practice to my sister, her husband and a friend. They all had appointments and were just as impressed as I was. They're the best!!

My brother referred me to here. He had nothing but good things to say. They got me in early one morning before my insurance expired. I've purchased 2 pairs of glasses here and am completely satisfied with both. I was a little frustrated over some confusion about the types of coatings available for the second pair, but unrightfully so. They got everything straightend out and I absolutely love them!

My 87 year old mom went here for a referral to see a specialist for wet md in one eye and dry in the other. They pushed her into buying glasses she doesn't need,(she just got new glasses).She hasn't picked them up. She tried to cancel but they refuse to pay back the money she paid already, that overdrew her account. She has a very limited income. They took advantage of an elderly women. Disgusting!!!

Went for the exam got my glasses two weeks later, normal hair time. Couldn't see way to magnified. Got another exam and another pair two weeks later seemed to make them mad when I went in the second t ime. The doctor was very pleasant though. They said give them a fair chance for two weeks. Can't wear them been almost two weeks still not right. Wearing my old ones can't take the it anymore. Very unhappy.

Geneseo Family Eye Care was able to get me in within 45 minutes of calling due to an "emergency" eye issue, involving debris in my eye and irritation. Dr. Dolan took a look and found the little speck causing the irritation. I've been coming to this office for many years and I'm always excited to go! The Staff, Technicians, and Doctors are always pleasant! Highly recommend because there is no other Optometry I would trust with my eyes!

Been there twice over the years for new glasses. Found the service and exam to be thorough and not rushed. Staff seems OK with you taking a bit of extra time during the tests to make sure your exam results are accurate, which for me have resulted in the best prescriptions compared to other institutions that I've been to in the past. I find that a private practice like Geneseo Family Eye care is a much better choice for quality and service then the faster "get your glasses while you wait," type of businesses. After all, you want your glasses to give you the clearest vision possible, and should work for at least two years, so in the long run it pays to wait a couple of extra days for your glasses rather then be rushed through in a one hour place. When I first went there a few years ago and was paying out of pocket, I also received some excellent discounts at the time of payment which cut the costs of the glasses (I got three) by several hundred dollars at the time. Also, at the same time, it turned out that my insurance did not cover the cost of the exam like I thought it would, and when this was realized by the office, they were kind enough to cut the cost of the exam almost in half without me even asking for it.

Geneseo Family Eye Care and Dr. Dolan are great! It's always a pleasant experience coming in for an appointment. Everything always seems to be on time. The staff are very personable. They've got state-of-the-art technology. And they're open late on certain evenings which is quite convenient. I started as a patient when I lived in the area, but even now that I live 40+ minutes away, I still come back despite the drive. I highly recommend!
