0 stars. The manager of this branch Beth is absolutely disgusting. The person who was helping me was new and when I asked questions the manager was incredibly rude to her own staff member and me. She was unwilling to help and unwilling to provide me any information on my own scripts. I left the store in tears and have never had a worse experience in my life. I will not be returning to this establishment ever in the future

This initial review is primarily about process. I am 69 years old and have been a very long term customer of Empire Visionworks at the Glenville location up until two years ago when I took my business elsewhere (I'll keep the reason I left to myself). In any event, I returned in hopes "things" had improved. I am happy to report I was thrilled with, what I believe to be, the kindest, ABSOLUTELY MOST HELPFUL professional I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Her name is Lori and Empire Visionworks have found themselves the "Real Deal". She is clearly a throwback in time to when great customer service actually existed. Although the store was busy, Lori afforded me the attention that made me feel as though I was the only customer in there. She couldn't have been more helpful guiding me through the things I needed to (re)consider based on my situational needs. Well done Lori !!! My best suggestion to Visionworks is, don't lose this one. She IS a GEM !! GRATEFULLY, John D. ps I'll report back on how well the Visionworks lab does with the finished product. Their turn next..... Fingers crossed.

No issues in the past but my last order was not correct. Waited 2 weeks to get the glasses and after wearing them for a day there was part of the lens order missing. Called on it and was told to bring them back and it would be added. Now they want another $86 dollars to fix what they never ordered in the first place and wait an additional 2 weeks... Why do I have to pay for their mistakes?

Staff seems miserable. And there's barely a doctor in office. They didn't even test my contacts with my vision. I paid for 2 pairs of contacts that I can barely see out of. And they have zero communication skills as front desk. But they have a bunch of cool machine to look at your eyes and the techs seemed nice.

Went for my first eye exam. Didn't know what to expect. Olivia did the exam, she was awesome so friendly. She was very busy but didn't seem flustered. Lori helped me after exam. She had a great personally and helped me choose between 3 different frames! Loved her signature style, boots and glasses. She was a lot of fun! Thank you ladies!

They did a great job from the second I walked in until the time I chose my glasses and was fitted for them. At first it's a little weird being examined by someone who's not present but the system they use was oddly enough, comforting and they make sure there was actually a person there in case you needed anything.

I typically do not write reviews, but it was absolutely imperative I write this review about my experience at the Glenville location. Lori, who assisted me from the start, from the moment I came in was joyful, exceedingly happy and overall committed to helping me solve my issue. I had a pair of broken frames and I needed lens, I cannot drive without my glasses and I have a very busy day today. Lori took the time to weld and shape my lens until they fit the frames, give me information about future purchases and Her dedication to helping me solve my problem truly could've brought me to tears, with the horrible day I was having. She also helped a friend of mine with his lens and appointment. This company absolutely needs to recognize Lori as the best in the BUSINESS!!!!! Her delightful attitude, dedication to talking her time out, finding a frame that would work with my lens, her kindness was an experience that restored my faith in humanity. Then the glasses she gave me were PERFECT for my face and very affordable!!!!!!, I absolutely love them. Lori thank you for changing my day and perspective on seeking help from customer service. I hope you are always blessed. I will always remember you. Vision-works, I do not make many reviews, honestly please give LORI A RAISE, and keep her with you she is an amazing and selfless asset to your company and she had a wonderful impact on my day!!!!!!

Lori new exactly what she was doing and the young man that helped me pick out my glasses both staff were excellent, very attentive, a pleasant experience.
