Hopewell Eyecare

Two years in a row I have gotten incorrect prescription for glasses. It's not worth the hassle of running back and forth to correct their mistakes. Was also prescribed drops for dry eye, twice. Prescription never sent. Staff at front desk acted like I was asking for them to do so much more than follow up to see why it was never sent. Rude staff. Won't be returning.

Besides the people who work in glasses department who are great, this place is nothing more than a money grab. They're refusing to refill my wife's glaucoma drops because they can't get her in until November. It's not even a scheduled drug. If I could give negative stars I would. Terrible hours, the staff at the desk are rude. Just a bad day experience all around

Dr. Peryea and his staff are helpful, considerate, accommodating and care about our health and vision. Dr Peryea takes the time to answer any questions and make sure my vision is as good as possible.

Hopewell Eyecare was able to schedule a much-needed appointment for me on short notice in a very timely manner. There was almost no wait when I arrived. I experienced a friendly, courteous, professional staff to get me checked in, and into the initial phase of my exam. The new technology was outstanding. I experienced a thorough eye exam from a knowledgeable & responsive doctor. Finally, the associate in the shop was obliging and valuable in assisting me to pick out new frames that suited my needs and complimented my personality. Highly recommended!

Went here and they tested my eye pressure and told me it was high. Didn't feel confident so I went to an Opthamologist and they said my pressure was normal. When I told them how the tested my eye pressure with a puff of air, they laughed and said "I didn't think anyone used that method anymore". I have had an additional eye exam since that one at another Opthamologist office and they also told me my pressure was perfectly fine. Seems this place uses outdated equipment. In addition to this, the staff is incredibly rude when it came to ordering contacts. One miscommunication after the other. Will never go back again.

Staff was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. A huge plus for me was the fact that the doctors use photo imaging of the eye instead of dilating my pupil. I don't know if this is the case for every patient but I definitely appreciated this advancement as I hate when I need to get my eyes dilated. The price was also very good for my insurance coverage at least. Thanks Hopewell Eyecare!

Very poor customer service. Not a welcoming environment. I personally witnessed a male eye Glass attendant speaking down to an elderly customer. My 4month old frames were damaged I was told that there was nothing that could be done because the frame was discontinued. No help trying to resolve my issue. Why? Because they already have the insurance payment. I don't use big box eye care because of the poor customer service ..... this place dose not stand by their patients needs nor the products they sell you. I will be looking for a patient /customer oriented doctor with staff that work to resolve issues not be an obstacle for patients. Wasted time I wish i could have back. Thanks

Being unemployed with limited insurance choices I chose Hopewell Eyecare. Unfortunately, they talked me into trying progressive glasses for the first time. I was told if they're not right it's not a problem we'll "make it right". Kim knew I was unemployed and the cost was a huge factor. Well! I went to pick them up a week ago and disliked them immediately. The frames are way too narrow for progressives yet without having any experience with them I relied on Hopewell Eyecare to guide me. I could not read anything without literally looking at the bottom frame of the glasses. I was told to take them home and try them for a week. I did. I can't drive with them. I can't read with them. I can't even see the television with them on. Both prescriptions are wrong. Being unemployed I asked for a refund since I cannot afford to keep going up and back to their office which is 45 minutes from me. (The only eye place in my insurance plan). But that's not a good enough reason for them to refund my money. They told me to call my insurance company. I did and you know what they told me? The cost of progressive lenses is non refundable!!! NO ONE at this place told me that! Because being unemployed I would have opted to wait until I get a job. I want a refund. So much for "making it right". If they do make this right I'll change this review.
