AWFUL They charged me $804 for glasses and frames and then another $400 for the exam. They never explained that the $804 didn't include the exam.Very poor communications. I got a second pair at walmart last month for $109 RIP OFF STAY AWAY

I'm very disappointed!!!! I try to keep my business local, but this is not one I will support or recommend!!! When I made the appointment, i checked to make sure they accepted my insurance. I had my exam and picked out new glasses. I was asked to pay $394.00 up front, and they would submit the claim to my insurance. I was shocked! They couldn't even tell me what my total out of pocket would be. The day I picked up my new glasses, I was driving, and things were very blurry. I made another appointment, and it was determined my lenses needed to be changed. I was not charged. I went back and picked up my glasses, and they seemed fine. Three days later, the bridge of my nose was very sore, red, and there were indents on both sides (these are plastic frames). It became so painful that I couldn't wear them. I went back again and was told that I would need to purchase new glasses!!! They would cover the lenses and offer me 30% off new frames. I have already shelled out a lot of money for these glasses, which I can't wear and now they expect me to pay more?? Now, they billed my insurance and received partial payment. According to the insurance company, there is a $200 credit allowance that should have been given, and I am on the hook for the remainder ($160+). They also informed me that the partial payment that was paid out should have been refunded to me. I am working with my insurance company to get these reimbursements. This has been the worst experience ever!! The only positive thing about this business is the pleasant receptionist!

Absolutely love Dr Redmond and her staff at Tri-County. Extremely professional, and knowledgeable. She has helped me through some of my toughest times (I have an autoimmune issue that has affected my eyes on occasion), and she did so with empathy, sincere concern and expertise. Highly recommend Tri-County Eye.
