Squint Optometry

I had my 1st appointment with Debra Bernstein on Wed., 4.30.25. It was a much nicer experience when compared to my appointment with a larger Optometrist's office. She takes her time, testing both eyes with her equipment. She is on the list of Optometrists that is put out by the NYS DMV, which is great as she can send test results directly there for the next license renewal. She has a large selection of frames for dark glasses as well as reading. It was a very pleasant experience. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new optometrist.

I have been wearing glasses and contacts for 40 years (yikes) and have been more pleased with Dr Debra Bernstein's services at Squint than any other business of this nature. She gets the prescription right, everytime! She takes as much time as it requires to complete her thorough and thoughtful exams, not just for correct prescription, but for lifestyle and preferences. I recently brought my 15 year old to her for her first glasses, and Dr Bernstein related so well to my teenager, and she left feeling good about getting glasses and liking the ones Dr Bernstein helped her choose. Not an easy feat with a 15 year old! Response time is quick and customer service is excellent. Top notch optometrist and well run business. Go!

I had to replace two progressive frames. Regular and sunglasses. Definitely very competitive compared to other Rivertowns shops.
