Coco's Vision Family Center/GVS

If there was an option to put no stars, I'd put no stars. I've been a customer for about 3 years, till about 2 weeks ago. I happily received the message that my glasses were ready for pick up. With all the positive emotions and energy I walk in to the store just to be greeted so negatively. This lady working at this location (37th Ave and 81st), was not providing any professional service. She brings out my glasses and begins to clean them. I kindly ask why are you cleaning them. She answers, cleaning what? Am like the glasses. She was like oh if you want you can clean them then am not going to give them to you dirty. I ask, aren't they supposed to be brand new ? To later find out that they provided me with the glasses form the display, only new thing was the glass lens not the frame. WHATTT ? What kind of store is this. Who provides used glasses, because everyone goes in, to try them. Yet they claim they are new, it's crazyyyy. Thought this whole time I was paying 700 for a whole brand new pair of glasses, how bad I was being played. Mind you one of the legs of the frame was so opened like so wide out. I begin to tell the lady I don't want the glasses, I talked to the manager through her phone, to see if there was a refund I could get, as am speaking to her, SHE HAD THE AUDACITY TO BACKUP HER PHONE AWAY FROM ME AS AM SPEAKING, and says yeah grace I'll finish up with the customer, mind you I hadn't finished talking to her manager, she left me with words on my mouth. I ask her why you removed the phone away from me if am talking to your manager, she so rudely says, ITS MY PHONE I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT. This isn't all there's more to it but I would not ever recommend this store again, they lie about their products, without even notifying a customer and the customer service from this one lady ughhhh the WORSTTTTTT EVER. I've worked customer service multiple times, and something I've learned is customers have to leave satisfied and they'll always have to be treated with respect. I'll kindly provide pictures of her so you all can be careful with who provides you with the worst customer service experience ever, after she denied providing me with her name. Who also said I'm not giving it to you. I was never rude to this lady, never. I was even accompanied by my sister, who witnessed everything .

I had a great experience at Cocos Vision. The staff was incredibly kind and patient, and they walked me through everything I needed to know about using my insurance. The eye exams were done with care, and they gave me very clear medical recommendations for my vision issues. They also helped me choose a pair of high-quality glasses that I'm using right now and absolutely love. I really appreciated how warm and helpful everyone was. Highly recommended!

I am very happy of the service of this place. I went to the 81st branch. The doctor is nice and took time to explain to me the importance of caring for my eyes. The customer service is good also. I do give a big appreciation for Jennifer on making it possible for me to have my eyeglasses rushed as I have an exam coming. She helped me choose a nice frame and explained the breakdown of what was covered and un-covered with regard to the insurance (Which I needed because I am a student). Among everything, all of the staff were very accommodating and I just had to leave a good review. I did wait a good amount of time before I was seen for an eye exam and got off from the clinic. However, I do think that is out of their control as their clients for check up keeps on coming. Thank you!

This company is just trying to get the money any way they can, they put extra charges on you saying you need certain prescriptions and it's only because they want the extra money. They are doing horrible in ratings and they know they will be closing soon mark my words. They made me pay more money for a mistake they did on my glasses putting my glasses as tint when I asked for transition and they said they wasn't able to because of my frames being polycarbonate. Then had me pay the extra money to still make it transition with the polycarbonate.

If only the staff was as efficient as the doctor that works there . I've been waiting three months to hear back from a prescription and an order for contacts I placed. I was told I didn't know such thing, that the amount a paid was solely for the exam. Even though when I was if everything was completely the woman smiled and said yes. Never going back there again .

Disappointed with Service - Unable to Purchase Needed Item I recently visited Coco's vision with the intention of purchasing specific eyes glasses frame , but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Despite the item being listed as available when I went to the place , I was informed next time I went they couldn't sell it to me. Additionally, the staff seemed unprepared to assist with alternative options or provide information on when I could get my frame. The lack of communication and readiness to help left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I expected better service and clarity from Coco's Vision. This experience has made me reconsider shopping here in the future. I hope improvements can be made to ensure customers can reliably find and purchase the items they need.

I have a customer for over 10 years and treated like a criminal. I was ordering contact lenses for my son, paid for it by card. Then they tried to coerce me to sign some credit card document because other customers were canceling transactions. The manager Jennifer Lopez, there asked me if I wanted to cancel the transaction and I did. I WILL never set my foot back there again.

I needed a new pair of glasses and I was recommended by a friend to go to Coco's Vision. The customer service and attention were exceptional. The doctor was quick and precise. I forgot her name, but the sales associate was incredibly helpful. She let me try on at least 30 pairs of glasses and she kept her cool and helped me find the perfect pair for my face shape and budget. They have so many options, but her help resulted in a very satisfied customer. They even provide adjustments for life and they gave me cleansing wipes and the liquid as well. Overall I had an amazing experience.
