Lens Lab Express

I have been a long-time customer dating back to the previous ownership, when the staff was consistently kind, personable, and professional. Unfortunately, since the new owners took over, the level of professionalism has declined dramatically. Several months ago, I left work early for a follow-up appointment after receiving repeated reminders from the office. Upon arriving--after taking time off work and traveling there--I was abruptly told that my union insurance plan was no longer accepted. This was never communicated in advance, despite the office clearly knowing that the new owners had dropped numerous insurance and union plans. When I expressed my disappointment and frustration at having wasted valuable time, I was met with rudeness rather than accountability or even a basic apology. Fast forward to the present: I contacted the office to inquire about having a few specific lines (4, 5, 10, and 11) completed on a DMV Vision Test Report using my existing records (not the MV80L itself). From the start, the interaction was unpleasant. The first person cut me off mid-sentence, said "hold on," and transferred me without explanation or courtesy--forcing me to start all over again. The second person I spoke with was equally abrupt and unprofessional. When I calmly called out the tone and asked why I was being spoken to with such attitude as a customer, her response was, "You're the one with an attitude." That response alone speaks volumes. Adding to the frustration, the business's website still falsely advertises that they accept ALL insurances and union plans, which is blatantly untrue. Failing to update basic, critical information--especially in an area saturated with optical providers--is careless at best and misleading at worst. This level of conduct is unacceptable in any customer-facing business, particularly in a medical or vision care setting. Staff who speak to customers this way should not be employed in public-facing roles. I will be taking my business elsewhere. The contrast between the previous ownership and the current one could not be clearer. The new owners didn't just drop insurance plans--they dropped professionalism, courtesy, and common sense. In a market full of better options, this approach is not sustainable. If I were a betting woman, I wouldn't expect this place to last. Disappointing. Unprofessional. Stay away. PS - If you look at my google review history they are mostly glowing reviews of businesses as a local guide.

Very accomodating clinic. My glasses were made fast, literally, next day (given lenses are available already). Jennifer and her team are warm and accomodating. Very commendable service. Top notch service, value for money. Will be back for my future eye glasses.

This was my first time going to Lens Lab Express and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I was greeted warmly by Valentina who was very pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and made the whole experience a pleasure. She patiently helped me pick out a very nice pair of glasses that I was comfortable with. The doctor was also very attentive and explained my situation and options. I would definitely recommend visiting this location going forward. Thanks again.

Just want to say thank you to the ladies at Lens Lab. They're super friendly, and were very helpful in picking out the perfect frames and sunglasses for me. They are very knowledgeable and overall I was very satisfied with their customer service. I know I cant trust them in the future for any additional eyewear needs. Definitely a positive experience!

False Eye Exam results - DO NOT TRUST! Do not trust this eye care store and doctor. They are very unprofessional and have poor customer service. After they checked my eyes doctor see me less than five minutes. I didn't feel any trust this place and next day I went another eye exam place and doctor checked and examined my eyes and I was right Lens Lab Express eye exam result were not correct. Think twice if you want to visit this unprofessional and poor quality eye exam store/ place .

Wonderful experience from entry to exit. Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure I was both comfortable and satisfied. Highly recommend anybody and everybody to come see Jennifer for a stress free and enjoyable visit! Thanks again!

Excellent, competent services. People were so nice and accommodating. I'll definitely be back. I'm new to the neighborhood and feel lucky that I chose this place to get my eyes checked and get new glasses. Yay!
