VisionWorks -- You Guys Rock!
Gotta give major props to the crew at VisionWorks! From the second I walked in, they were just beyond friendly, real people -- no sales pitch, just good energy and great service. Came in to get my glasses fixed and they handled it fast, smooth, and with a smile. You can tell they actually care about what they do and the people they help.
I'll 100% be back when it's time for new frames. Big thank you to the team for making it easy, fun, and stress-free. Highly recommend they're the real deal!
I have been using Davis Visionworks Little Neck Plaza for over 6 years to get eyes checked annually and to get new glasses. It is always a pleasant experience. Optometrists and floor staff are always professional and helpful. I do like the feature where you can make appointment online and get notifications. They have a good selection of eyewear and they are not pushy in trying to upsell. I have MBF as eye insurance and I have no problems using it.
Like many other negative reviews in here, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, please! Don't let anyone in this store, specifically the manager ADAM disrespect you. I have no idea how they can continue to have Adam as the manager, he shouldn't be in costumer service at all. The guy was absolutely out of line, screamed at me infront of my minor daughter, insulted me, called me a lier and continued to scream at me and told me to leave his store. I have never in my life experienced anything like that, ever. I left shaken, crying and feeling completely ashamed of the situation. The guy definitely has a reputation here, please read other reviews about him. I just did myself. I came home crying to my husband, he then called them and he was very angry to say the least. Don't expect anyone to defend you or correct his behavior, bc nobody did. I wish I could've had the guts to call the cops on him, he should not be a manager, there aren't any cameras by the entrance, so he knows what he's doing. My husband called them, spoke to him and he did the same to him, only my husband did yell back at him and put him in his place. He told my white none Hispanic husband, we were "takers" I'm Hispanic so it took us a minute to understand what he meant by it. He's definitely a racist person, who should not be working as a manager. I wish I would've recorded him. My husband will take this as high as he can go, because he needs to learn a good lesson. A woman that works there, who wasn't the nicest either, held him back and told him to wait, and spoke over him. How I wish they'd install cameras there. This is about the way you treated ME and my daughter ADAM, not about some damn contact lenses. Rest assured we won't stop this here. And to the staff that didn't stop him from screaming at me, I feel sorry for everyone in there.
Firstly, woman I spoke to was a sweetheart. My son in Colorado and had a bad fall and hit his head and glasses broke and lenses lost in snow when goggles were taken off. Due to policy were unable to give me his script. Just wanted it to see if I can get him maybe a reader to buy time til get home. Said no. Then I said how about if I get a Dr to call, said no. At this point I feel like this is neglect cause this young man cannot see without glasses. Said can only mail it or pick it up. He is there for four days. Just think hitting your head and now no glasses to see, really helps the situation? Am I wrong for being upset? This is a special situation. Also asked for Manager, and not in this Saturday.
I normally do not leave reviews but I have to say this in hopes of giving these people constructive feedback or directing people elsewhere. I think the store layout is very awkward. There should be people in the front to greet you not just sitting in the back. It is also very hard to differentiate who is an employee. Please have a clear front desk and please have a waiting area. When I booked my appointment, this place should have specified that they do not take corrective lenses for a routine eye exam. I basically wasted my time there. I understand certain places have limitations on what they can do but I just wished I knew all of this before even showing up. Website was unclear and hard to read. Additionally, the doctor had a "what are you even here" for attitude that I did not appreciate.
Dr. Kim is great. She is the main reason I keep coming back to this location for all these years. All the technicians are great too, especially the one I worked with last week. She helped me maximize my benefit while picking out the best options for me
Super great experience, had my appointment at 12:30, was out before 1PM. Young lady who spoke to me before the doctor was very sweet, same goes with the Optometrist, who helped me out!
I was told about what was covered, what wasn't and my copay!
10/10 would visit again!
Cancelled my appointment day of without calling me. Just randomly got an email. The receptionist couldn't figure anything out and seemed so happy to drop the call because she's got people waiting on her when she couldn't get me any good reason why besides something related to insurance. Just seems very disorganized.
