Just had cataract surgery this morning. As a person who is very uncomfortable when it comes to anything or anyone near my eyes, having Dr. Nagel perform my surgery was one of the best decisions I have ever made. She made me feel very comfortable and safe during the surgery. The nurses and staff at the surgical center were also great. I highly recommend Dr. Nagel if you need cataract surgery.

Don't recommend at all. I visited this office because I wanted to do my yearly check-up and get a new glasses prescription. The doctor was nice and took me in after some tests done by the medical assistant, but the real problem was with the staff. First, they couldn't find my referral -- even though they confirmed over the phone before the appointment that they had it. They were rude and charged me $100 for a test I didn't ask for and that wasn't covered by my insurance. Fun fact: I didn't even need that test, because I came only for a new glasses prescription. After the visit, they handed me some papers and sent me home. The issue is that they had just used eye drops that blurred my vision, so I couldn't even see what they gave me. I asked the front desk to help me order a cab because I felt dizzy, and the lady said, "This is New York, you can catch one on the street." When I got home, I realized I had only one prescription -- for contacts, not glasses. I decided to let it go and just ordered the contacts. A few weeks later, the city shut down because of the virus, and I started taking my classes online. I had an allergic reaction to the contacts and tried to call Dr. Nagel's office to get my glasses prescription. The first call -- they said they'd mail it. The second -- same story. The third -- the office was closed. Still no prescription. Since then, I've been calling almost every day. Each time they ask, "Is this an emergency?" and I explain, "Yes, I need my glasses to be able to see properly and attend online classes." They take my name, birth date, and address, promise to send it -- and nothing. It's been almost a month, still no prescription, no help, and no responsibility from the staff. I absolutely don't recommend this office to anyone.

On Nov. 29th, I had cataract surgery, performed by Dr. Dalia Nagel at the Manhattan Surgery Center. Dr. Nagel, as well as the nurses and staff at the center, did an amazing job. From the moment I check in until I woke up in recovery, I received the best professional, compassionate care. Not only can I see with both eyes again, I experienced only a minimum of post-surgery discomfort, and when I woke up the following morning, I had to remind myself that I had actually undergone a surgical procedure! I resumed my normal life almost immediately, with no side effects or deterrents. If you suffer from cataracts, I cannot recommend Dr. Nagel highly enough! She is the best!

Had a great experience with Dr. Nagel. She also helped resolve a prescription issue well after hours on a Friday. First class doctor.

Excellent Service. This is just by observation, most people gets their eyes dilated but the staff never let you know that their are temp sunglasses on premises for you to wear outside. And I never knew they have those to give patients, when you're finish seeing the doctor they should just hand one to you. just saying

I waited an hour and a half for an appointment that lasted 10 minutes. The doctor did not convey that my prescription for more contacts would cost 100 dollars until after the appointment despite my calling beforehand to ask about the price.

I highly recommend Dr. Dalia Nagel. Very professional and knowledgeable . Office staff courteous and didn't wait long at all.

Dr. Schulman is a wonderful doctor. So is Dr. Nagel. All the staff is so friendly and helpful!
