I am very pleased with my experience. I have seen Dr. Kushner for a number of years for my annual exam and he is very thorough and very patient, answering all of my questions about new techniques and new types of contacts that are available. The front desk staff is very friendly. My contacts came in very promptly.

I am so lucky to have found Dr Goldberg as my optometrist when I moved to NYC 4 years ago. He is an incredible doctor and his experience, knowledge, and even equipment is unrivaled. Not only does he use modern equipment so you don't need to dilate your eyes, he is actually able to take a picture of the back of your eyes and will compare it year to year for you to show you how your eyes are changing. He is super kind and his staff are all very friendly. I will never go to another eye doctor!

My right eye had been feeling tired and I thought it was time to update my prescription. I chose this office to get an eye exam simply because it's very convenient to my office. I called and was able to get an appointment later the same week. I didn't expect to be impressed but I was. Dr. Kushner is excellent. I went in for a routine exam but ended up discovering an issue with my eye that required me to visit a retina specialist. Dr. Kushner did a very good job of explaining the next steps to me, very professional but also kind. Highly recommend!

I suffered during the day at the office with something in my eye. Eventually, around 3:30pm, I called Lenscrafters to ask if they had a walk-in appointment to help. I did have to wait about 20 minutes before the doctor saw me, and by this time I was getting more and more uncomfortable, but as a walk-in, I considered the wait time reasonable. The doctor was friendly, reassuring, knowledgeable and - most importantly! - competent. She removed the 'foreign object', and I immediately felt better. The insurance was handled quickly and professionally. All-in-all, excellent service.

I've gone here for the last four or five years for routine eye exams, and I've found it to be as good as I could have wished. Usually a short wait past your appointment time, but after that it's efficient, the doctors are friendly and professional, and they'll answer all questions. Highly recommended.

The receptionists were extremely welcoming and helpful in gathering and delivering the info that I needed for my visit. I saw Dr. Kushner who is amazing! He was really friendly and efficient!! He accommodated my needs so quickly I was in and out in a flash. Thank you Eastside Optometric! Highly recommended! I will be returning to you for my next visit!

I chose Dr. Abilevitz after reading her reviews and she was great. She explained everything in detail and was extremely thorough. Both she and her staff were friendly and helpful. I have never picked out glasses before and I had such a great experience. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend her.

We had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Lou Kushner for two year now, and he has been fabulous with caring for our eyes. Very thorough, thoughtful, and professional. Gently reminded me to see the glaucoma specialist each year, and diagnosed my husband's running eyes! It is great to have someone actually care about their patients and their profession.
